About this deal

I keep it way in the back, out of the sunlight, to keep it preserved and it has held up remarkably well.

The hyacinth, bergamot, gardenia, and honeysuckle are most prominent to me, with the musk and amber barreling through the middle notes after an hour or so. The base is no less exotic, consists of Natal plum blossom, golden melaleuca, zebrano wood, ambrette seed. Maybe they're looking to use a multicoloured bottle for a new perfume and they're clearing the decks for it? I like hyacinth in perfume - an infrequently used note - as it brings back springtime childhood memories.

Regarded as an icon and visionary of the industry, Esteé Lauder’s synonymous brand founded in 1946, is loved worldwide for its youth-preserving skincare, Double Wear complexion makeup and romantic perfumes that radiate elegance and femininity. I need to nab the EL generic bottle version one of these days before it disappears over the horizon. Beyond Paradise, housed in an appealing colour gradient bottle, is a sumptuous, abstract floral bouquet - rich, high-quality and timelessly elegant. Almost forgot to mention the great lasting power and great sillage of this one, so great perfomance overall. It had a huge aquatic top note, as I remember it, and in those days I hated all aquatics although I've since come to a moderate appreciation of them.

Just thought I would see if anyone else was having the same issues with vintage Estee Lauder Perfumes going bad. I find this a bit wishy washy, fresh enough with a floral undertone, but there is nothing in it that really grabs me, nor does it pack any kind of punch or oomph. It’s not a fragrance that is “me,” (at all), but when I sniff it I just know it’s masterfully created. I’m always amazed by Estée Lauder’s scents but this one particularly stands out for me beside Pure White Linen 💞 so fresh so elegant .If anyone dislikes this and is looking for a swap, please see my profile for my swap list, or message me :) Sorry for the nostalgia, and I will update this with a more thorough review when I get my hands on a bottle of this magic again. This is a beautiful traditional white floral fragrance, along the lines of Gucci Bloom without the tuberose, Modern Muse (greener, but similar honeysuckle, jasmine) and Narciso Rodriguez. I have a 100ml, unused, original rainbow bottle of this, still in its box, which I'm pretty sure I bought duty free in around 2003/2004.
