I fell in love with the epilogue because it was the sweetest and had me feeling butterflies and swooning with them. for such a big point they made around it, it truly wasn't touched on very much or discussed nearly enough to make it seem important to the story to me.

The spice was hot and I can always count on Lauren for hot and delicious scenes ❤️‍🔥🤌🏻 But for me this book was so long considering it could be 50 to 80 pages less if all the unnecessary drama in the end didn't happen.After a traumatic life event, Liam threw himself into his career, masquerading as the playboy who is chill, cocky and completely fine all the time. The beginning dull but the middle was EVERYTHING I wanted- flirting, banter, cutesy moments, and a good plot. I may be his beautiful angel, but he’s my masked devil— too naughty for my heart, too irresistible for my body.

she also gave us a glimpse to noah's and maya's story which was needed and she mentioned them again in the epilogue? This book goes alongside Throttled , the timelines interweaving with one another, and whilst it is a standalone, it’s interconnected with the other books, so I recommend reading Throttled first. Liam helped Sophie to pursue her dreams and Sophie helped him to understand that its okay to grieve and have your fears until they eat you up alive.

I adored the dates that Liam planned for her while helping her check off her list (my favorites were that he took her skydiving and to see the stars). I loved the friendship that Sophie and Maya built and especially loved when Noah was giving Liam relationship advice (talk about swooning).

even though at times i didn't feel the chemistry between them, i still like how everything went about even though they were both stupid about their feelings.
