About this deal
The best thing about Trisha Wolfe's writing is that the plot is heavy and detailed enough that the characters feel real. The characters are fucked up, the story is fucked up, the romance is fucked up, even the writing is fucked up - in a beautiful way because I loved it - overall everything is fucked up.
From an early age, Trisha Wolfe dreamed up fictional worlds and characters and was accused of talking to herself.
idk if it's lawyer in me talking but i didn't feel it's justified just because he was killing rapists or people like that. This book wasn't super spicy, I'm hoping book 2 has a little bit more, but what was there was great! There is barely any romance in there but the fact this doesn't affect the story one bit is just commendable. If you are looking for a tense, gripping edge of the seat, twisted kind of read this is definitely for you!
This was twisted and evil, dark and dank…I've never come across such a complex, difficult, at times hard to watch relationship in my life.I really did enjoy this book, it was one I found myself racing towards the end to find out what happens but at the same time not really wanting it to end. Tbh I didn't think I was gonna be into this just based on the fact that the antihero was incarcerated, cause I guess for me personally, fiction and romance wise it's just hard to respect a serial killer who got caught, yanno? As I said before, I do consider it a bit more of a psychological thriller than a romance, but it still had some romantic elements. Regardless of how you feel about Grayson's sickly behavior, he has moments of vulnerability that shows a human side you can't ignore.
