It's hard to argue with a lot of her choices - I'd love to wear eyeliner like the Ronettes, and fall in love to The Flamingos. I get the sense though that whatever your opinion of the book itself, it very much reflects Miss Chung.

Goodness, I've held onto this book for several years and now just read it in about 30 minutes while putting off doing my laundry (which I'm continuing to put off by writing this review). For a start, there's nothing "Last Year" about it - it's so unbelievably now, it's hard to believe the ink has even had chance to dry properly.Well, first off it’s also a kind of unstructured diary that talks about her taste in fashion, music, beauty, and movies.

Now based in New York, Chung, a former model, of part-Chinese descent (currently fronting music programme, Fuse News), is a television presenter who's won the British Style award three times and had a Mulberry bag named after her. There are some moments in the book which conceive limited depictions of gender, as well as Chung´s relationship with her femininity and other women´s. I enjoy reading books like this because really when it comes down to it I'm nosey and like to know everything (I don't really even like Alexa Chung that much and being Australian, I actually have no idea why she's famous. I really do believe that if everyone in the world had 25 leather jackets, no one would be unhappy again ever. Personally I like the dip-in-dip-out scrapbook feel and I enjoyed what was there, but for 17 quid I would have liked a bit more.
