I recommend playing extensively with the base set first before adding this set on, so you know just how quickly the marbles roll down the tracks and how to best make use of additional height. The elements can be integrated seamlessly with existing GraviTrax sets, allowing you to create more dynamic marble runs. My almost-20-year-old daughter, ever the inventor, of course, improved upon some of the base projects. Similar to needing a level table, you must make sure that all of your hexes, tiles, and pillars are seated snugly and pushed down completely.
