About this deal

There have been three or four articles about me accusing me of being a “hizbee”– i.e. that I call to something other than the correct path. Even to the point where our brothers in Africa are affected and they come to me for clarification – am I a “hizbee”? And due to this, it has been reported concerning the one who wishes to be like the scholar who teaches the people good, that he will get a reward similar to that of (that Scholar). And the one who wishes to be like the rich person who spends his wealth in the path of Allah, (then) he will receive a reward similar to that of (that rich person) in accordance to his intention. This is our call. Follow the Book Of Allah, the sunnah of His messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) and the manhaj of the righteous salaf. Leave off the hizbiyyah and the real hizbees. This newspaper has obtained eight sermons from figures at mosques across the country, including in London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester, all of which are linked to registered charities receiving taxpayers’ money.

The campaigners who wrote to the Charity Commission on Thursday said: “We urge the Commission to launch an urgent investigation into the charities, with a view to taking further regulatory action, and to make a public statement reconfirming that the Commission will have no tolerance for Islamist extremism, including anti-Semitism, incitements to violence and the glorification of terrorism.” Also in that same lecture, Abu Suhaib quoted the statement of Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) as follows: ” Follow and do not innovate, and hold unto the old affair for you have been sufficed.” He (Abu Suhaib) even questioned the proponents of Bidah Hasanah, asking them whether they are stupid or stubborn for holding onto this erroneous view! However, Abu Suhaib refrains from openly denouncing Al-Halabi and his innovations, even though the innovations of Ali Al-Halabi are also from the affairs of misguidance. Imaam Sufyaan Ath-Thawri (rahimahullaah) stated:

Abu Ibraaheem: Akhi refrain from speaking without proof, for indeed it is a great sin. Allaah (The Most High) said: And he was asked – “Virtuous Sheikh — may Allah grant you success — there is a phenomenon among the young ones and it is the testing of people with individuals, so if you agree with the one testing you are from Ahl Al-Sunnah, and if you oppose him, then you are an innovator. So what is your advice concerning this” There are people whose lives were made a misery, their chests constricted and their eyes made to cry, because they were slapped with a fatwa or an accusation. Is this Islam? Is this salafiyyah? In a place where the sunnah is rare and bid’ah is rampant?! And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not, etc.) that of which you have no knowledge (e.g. one’s saying: “I have seen,” while in fact he has not seen, or “I have heard,” while he has not heard). Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah). [17:36]

However, as has long been a trend and sadly one that started on the forums of the west and has now found its way into the muslim countries, there are those who are striving for salafiyyah yet they are labelled “hizbees”. These brothers are doing their best to tread the way of the salaf. They may have problems, mistakes, misunderstandings or differing views BUT they still fundamentally adhere to the way of the companions and those who follow them. British Imam Abu Ibrahim Hussnayn said in an October 20, 2023 Friday sermon at Mohammadi Masjid in Birmingham, U.K. that the Jews have a history of oppression, but today they are the oppressors. He said that the Jews today are committing atrocities worse than those committed against them by Pharaoh. Hussnayn continued to say that Jews have no shame, no limits, no morality, and no fear of Allah. He said that today, inanimate objects, drones, direct the Jews where Muslims are hiding so they can drop bombs on them, but according to the hadith, the day will come when the Muslims will fight the Jews, and the Jews will hide behind trees and stones, which will say to the Muslims: "Oh Muslim, behind me there is a Jew, come and kill him." The sermon was posted on Abu Ibrahim Hussnayn's YouTube channel. And he was asked: “Ahsan Allah elaikum Sahib Al-Fadilah (literally: Companion of virtuousness, i.e. that he hafithahu Allah is a virtuous Sheikh), this questioner says: In recent times there has been an increase in insults by saying “so-and-so is not a Salafi, or is not of the Salafiyyin”, so is this statement considered one of Tabdi’, and if so, is establishing the proof against [the one being insulted this way] necessary?” I quote Sheikh Rabee (hafidahullah) because some of these won’t accept it unless it comes from him:It can be revealed that at the Mohammadi Masjid in Birmingham, preacher Abu Ibraheem Hussnayn told worshippers on Oct 20: “Oh Muslim, behind me is a Jew, come and kill him. These times are coming.” It is widely known about some of the people that Al [ٱلۡوُسۡطَ] is only that which occupies the middle position between two things, and they do not call to attention the other meaning of this word, as mentioned in the Magnificent Qur’aan and the Prophetic Sunnah. [ٱلۡوُسۡطَ ] in the Islamic legislation is that which is ‘Superior.’ [Allaah (The Most High)] said: said: Other examples seen by this newspaper include a preacher at Cheadle Mosque in Manchester, another charity, praying for the victory of the “mujahideen” in the Palestinian territories, while another sermon hosted by in a council library in Redbridge, north-east London, demanded “victory for the believers”. The Sheikh replied: Not everyone’s statements in this issue are accepted, if it comes from someone like Shaikh Ibn Baaz or like Shaikh Ibn ’Uthaimeen then it is possible that his statement is relied on, as for anyone and everyone, then such statements are not taken from them. (Baab maa Jaa’a fi Miqdaar Diyyatidh-Dhimmi min Sharh Sunan Abi Dawuud)

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said: ‘He who loves the deeds of a people, good or bad, is just like the one who commits them'[1] Academics compiled a dossier of sermons at British mosques, which are being reported to the police, and shared it with The Telegraph earlier this week. Al-Sheikh Al-Albani rahimahu Allah: “The second and not the first” (Silsilah Al-Huda Wal-Nur, 8/751) And Sheikh Rabee was asked–“Question: If you spoke of a specific person, then some of the Noble Mashayikh of Ahl Al-Sunnah are asked about that person and so they speak of what they know of apparent good of that person and they praise him, so what should the position of the young Salafi be in this case?”So we say to Abu Ibraheem Husnayn: Do you promote the staunch supporters of Mubtadi’ah and consider them to be upon the balanced path?! How can the staunch followers of Mubtadi’ah be considered as such, rather the people upon the balanced path are those who abandon the obstinate figureheads of bidah and their staunch followers. They reject the shubuhaat of the figureheads of bidah and their staunch followers at Masjid As-Sunnah (Manchester), Masjid Al-Ghurabaa (Luton), Masjid Ibn Taymiyyah (Brixton), Masjid Al-Furqan (Manchester) and other people of hizbiyyah. The speeches, all made since the proscribed terror group Hamas invaded Israel on Oct 7, include calls to “destroy” Israelis and to “come and kill” Jewish people.
