It seemed like Kara got a raw deal and didn't have much agency, she makes more of a cameo in the beginning and then is immediately turned and made Darseid's henchmen.The biggest going on I missed is covered pretty extensively early in this series, and that is that the heroes have found a cure! Through all the horror there was a reward for them as they saved their loved ones and the universe as a whole from another crisis.

Additionally, there was a justifiable amount of anger and accusations of selfishness or shortsightedness. I find it HILARIOUS that Darkseid was freed by Metron, and that nobody was around in that Aftermath. She assures him it wasn't his fault, while also telling him he needs to find a way to forgive himself.

Sacrifices are made and the true meaning of heroism is displayed when heroes and villains join forces in the final battle to save their universe. I feel like I read the original DCeased story arc a few years ago for my previous podcast venture, but I’m not actually 100% sure. He revealed that this was in fact far older than the equation and even the gods, as well as the fact the universe will die, revealing that Erebos was here.
