At the time of this review, we’ve been testing the Scrubba Wash Bag on trips around the UK for just over a month. So, can this thing really give you “clean clothes anywhere?” Let’s get into it. Material & Aesthetic If you want to wash multiple large clothes, you will have more work to do in your hands. Thus, you can say that if you are using the Scrubba for a large load of clothes, then it will be very time-consuming.

And other than being able to wash your clothes anywhere (which is awesome), we found the Scrubba Wash Bag has unique benefits over other washing methods too.
The Scrubba claims to be a portable washing bag, but how well does it work?
Add liquid clothes washing soap. Solid clothes washing powder takes longer to dissolve, so we don’t recommend it unless you don’t have liquid soap around. Of course, when we’re traveling, we rarely carry clothes washing liquid, so in a pinch we’ve used shampoo or dish washing soap to clean our clothes. Both work well, but liquid washing soap works best. Release the air from the washing bag using the valve by twisting it open. Left to open, right to close. Unfortunately, 40D Nylon with TPU coating feels, in this case, rather cheap. To be clear, it’s not cheap and should last you a long time, but it’s a bit disappointing when you first get your hands on it. Trust us, though, it’ll do you a whole lot better than a plastic bag. Usage & Benefits Also, if you are looking for an environment-friendly wash bag that can save water, detergent, and even your money, then the Scrubba would be the best option for you. Scrubba actually make a wash and dry kit which includes a really good drying towel and a stretchy washing line - perfect for using in campervans or whilst camping attaching it between trees (or between your tent and a tree). It is very easy to use the Scrubba portable wash bag. In just 5 steps, you will be able to wash your clothes using the Scrubba. It’s a bit expensive. That said, the Scrubba is similar in price to a quality dry bag. Since dry bags need to be made of high quality materials and well made to avoid any leaks they can be expensive however the Scrubba is also engineered for washing clothes so the difference in price is minimal in our mind.The Scrubba Wash Bag even has benefits over a washing machine too. By washing your clothes inside a Scrubba you’re using far less water, and it uses no energy (apart from a tiny bit of your own, of course). For smaller loads, this thing is also a lot faster than a washing machine, which is a huge bonus. Durability & Testing Other than its size, this thing is the twin of the original version. There are some nodules on the interior washboard, it has the same window to see what’s going on as you’re washing, the same exterior valve, the same overall drybag aesthetic… We’ve even been testing it in the same lime green colorway.
