I first smelled this and was absolutely in love with the intoxicatingly rich and spicy cardamom - a note that I am already very fond of and I think this bottle has used it masterfully!

I'm not sure what kind of wizardry went down in the lab when creating La Nuit de l'Homme, but this is a unique, artistic, and breathtaking masterpiece. We deliver straight to the client’s door or to a preferred ECONT office from 9 AM to 5 PM every working day of the week, and until 2 PM on a Saturday. As for its staying power, it performs with a respectable, if not earth-shattering, endurance of 6-8 hours, with passable sillage. Another very present note is lavender, which balances the aroma so as not to load it towards oriental chords. Don't know if it's my nose, but the cedar-cardamom mix is very strong on today's bottles and for some years now. It opens up with sweet fresh spicy and warm spices notes in the background then dry down is sweet creamy woody. The second contrast comes from the dry, woody notes of cedar and the delicacy and refinement of lavender.

I feel La Nuit de l'Homme is meant to be intimate, the vintage versions are a tad richer and deeper but still an intimate frag. Everyone has different skin chemistry and I guess this perfume just works really well on my skin, it lasts about 7-8 hours but after the first 6 it becomes a skin scent, way longer than I assumed it would reading the other reviews.
