His goal was to vanquish the Predacons from the planet Earth, a task he recognized would not be done easily. Optimus Primal bio (Basic class) Optimus eventually re-engineered his body, from a fruit bat to a gigantic gorilla, alluded to be comparable in size to King Kong. His strength had been most notably increased by this process, and he possessed "mega blast missiles", produced from his shoulder mounted cannons. Optimus Primal bio (Ultra class) Optimus Prime and his troops lay deactivated on the Fera Islands for three million years until G.I. Joe stumbled upon them one day in 1939. The Line The Autobots were reactivated by a repair drone and given new disguises, with Optimus Prime being reformatted into an unknown World War II-era human vehicle. He explained to Duke who they were, and learned that Megatron's Decepticons had been reactivated a year prior, and were currently wreaking havoc on Europe along with Cobra. While hesitant at first, Optimus Prime soon joined G.I. Joe in their mission to destroy Cobra and the Decepticons. He uses the Ion cannon to blast the target a few times, then gets closer and burns it with his flame thrower. After a nearly endless war that resulted in the AllSpark parting from Cybertron for good, Kingdom episode 1 Megatron killed Optimus Prime, lamenting that they should have worked together. Afraid of the possibility of this occurring in the past, Kingdom episode 5 Unicron resurrected and enslaved Optimus as Nemesis Prime. As the Autobots and Decepticons died out, Unicron and his minions were a constant threat to the Maximals and Predacons Kingdom episode 6 that emerged from the uninhabitable Cybertron. Both groups eventually time-traveled to the prehistoric Earth, with the Predacons seeking to change the future. Some time later, Optimus was botnapped by Megatron's Renegade Decepticons and taken to another reality. As a result of Starscream sneaking off, Prime regained enough strength to stand against Megatron until Jazz and Windblade arrived to reinforce him; realizing that Starscream had abandoned the fray to conquer Kronos, capital of the Klingon Empire, the Decepticons made a hasty retreat while the heroes regrouped to pursue their foes, which included beaming Optimus and the other Autobots to the cargo hold of the real Enterprise, so that their knowledge of Cybertronian engineering could speed up the repairs. Prime's Directive, Part Four Includes Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Core Class Optimus Prime figure, 1 accessory, and instructions. Now on Earth, Optimus was leading a group of his best scouts on a fuel-finding mission when they heard a tremendous explosion go off nearby. Some of the parts in the front of this form were hidden away in robot mode, so it is great to see that they received a good amount of silver deco. This includes the grille. There is a lot of silver paint being used here given the size of the figure, something that surprised me. Optimus was amongst the Autobots about to be topped up with their latest batch of fuel when Red Alert burst into Autobot headquarters, warning everyone about Ramjet being spotted nearby. Red Alert's warning came in just in time, as the Autobots’ fuel had been poisoned, and Optimus would have been left unable to transform had he ingested any of it. According to Hasbro copy writer Forest Lee, the reference to Straxus was included in Comic-Con 2008 Nemesis Prime's bio entirely to make David Willis happy.Optimus was advised of two plans; Perceptor suggested that the Autobots stay on the defensive while the scientist attempt to come up with a cure, while Prowl wanted the healthy Autobots to go out and try to find out what the Decepticons were up to. As the battle wore on, Optimus attempted to drive the Autobots too wounded to outrun the Beast themselves to safety, carrying them within his trailer. Jetfire showed up in time to rescue most of his passengers, leaving Optimus to deal with The Beast on his own. Seeing a city coming closer over the horizon, Optimus attempted to reach the Dinobots one last time from within The Beast. As his former troops remained unresponsive, Optimus led The Beast to its doom, blasting it a few more times before leading it to fall into a chasm. Optimus himself was rescued from the fall at the last possible moment by Jetfire's timely return. As the two of them looked on at the Beast's inert form, Optimus wondered out loud if their battles would truly ever come to an end. The Beast Within Part 2, Consequences Beastify the battlefield! Worlds collide when the Maximals and Predacons join the fight, coming together with the Autobots and Decepticons in an epic battle that will alter their destiny forever.
