About this deal
Many of their team are current or former coaches with a deep passion for helping athletes and other coaches alike. They are proud of their nerdy reputation as inventors and pioneers with an elite crew of industrial designers employed to develop and improve swimming products, and an over-arching wish to make the sport accessible to everyone. Lastly, we have the Accusplit 500. The Accusplit watches tend to get a fairly divided response from coaches when asked about it: those who love it really love it (particularly lefties that appreciate the twin left-right button set up) while those who don’t, well, you know.
Once they have passed the marker at 10m going into their turn, with their head, the coach should start their stopwatch. FINIS are known for their technological innovation. They have a variety of training equipment that is designed to elevate the way that you swim. FINIS are swimmers who create products that they would use. The personal trainers by FINIS are great for all levels from beginners to elite.Measuring up to ten hours by 1/100th of a second, these specialist stopwatches automatically calculate stroke rate, allowing you to see the first and second finishing times in the same view. Stopwatches are an essential piece of a swimming coach’s kit. Being able to competently use a swimming stopwatch (or two) is a key swimming coaching skill. As the swimmer passes the marker with their head, the coach should stop their stopwatch and record the result.
Using a 3 x 100 Stopwatch can simplify improving your lap times. It allows for 100 splits and review of both cumulative and lap splits. But wait, there is more. It also clearly displays the current split and how many splits have been taken. As the lead swimmer starts the first repeat, the coach starts the first stopwatch. As the swimmer completes the first repeat, the coach should press the lap button. The coach should continue to repeatedly press the lap button as every other swimmer in the lane completes the repeat. Recording an individual swimmer during competition is often more than just recording their race time. That’s the job of the timekeeper.
