About this deal

Our iconic selection of sweets has been bringing people together since 1936. John Macintosh, the owner of a successful confectionery business in Norwich, sold a deliciously chewy new toffee invented by his wife. When his son inherited the business, he soon created a range of sweets in beautiful wrappers that everyone could enjoy – and Quality Street® was born. The Green Triangle" (previously known as Noisette Triangle) – milk chocolate filled with hazelnut praline (green wrapper, foil)

Like Heroes, they comprises miniature versions of the chocolate brands owned by the manufacturer - Mars. Individual larger versions of the more popular chocolates are now manufactured and sold separately, as an extension to the brand, such as a bar based on the Purple One.It’s worth noting that many of these experienced minor alterations while others were dropped altogether. Matchmakers (sold separately as Cool Mint, Zingy Orange, Yummy Honeycomb, Salted Caramel, Gingerbread and Maple & Pecan) Gooseberry Cream (green wrapper light green fondant with a touch of Gooseberry Preserve covered in milk chocolate) Onto the box that led to the development of Heroes - Celebrations launched two years prior to the Cadbury equivalent.

Quality Street Collisions sharing bar is now available exclusively in Asda and will roll out to supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide later this month. We all love foraging through the iconic purple tub at Christmas to find our favourite Quality Street sweet, usually to find they’ve been all gobbled up, but what do we actually know about these delicious treats? The 235g Quality Street Collisions sharing bar is the first flavour collision and the third addition to the Quality Street sharing bar range.Intrigue Truffles sold separately as Praline, Salted Caramel and Orange (Salted Caramel and Praline are sold at both Asda and Morrison's stores, whereas Orange is sold at Asda only) Introducing the Quality Street Collisions sharing bar, boasting three layers of textured deliciousness. Each bite offers indulgent caramel, a smooth hazelnut filling, and delightfully crunchy hazelnut pieces. Toffee Finger was part of our original assortment as well as Green Triangle, The Purple One and Caramel Swirl. Celebrate Christmas with the new Quality Street Collisions Hazelnut & Caramel Chocolate Sharing Bar. Great for sharing at Christmas and other occasions. Taking inspiration from the Purple One and Green Triangle, this sharing bar combines elements from of our most loved sweets with an indulgent caramel, smooth hazlenut & crunch hazelnut pieces filling. Prepare for a cosmic collision: The Purple One and the Green Triangle fuse in a new chocolate bar sensation.

Perhaps predictably, the only complaint came from a dental hygienist. Sairan Fattah, 49, from Tottenham, said she liked the “crunchy milky nice flavour”, but that she found it “a little too sweet”.For Scotland, 2011 data is shown (update coming soon, the Scottish census was delayed by a year unlike the rest of the UK). Samantha Hirst, Brand Manager for Quality Street at Nestlé UK and Ireland, said: “We’re sure that Quality Street fans will love the fact that two favourites have been brought together to make a triple-layered treat that’s perfect for gifting or sharing with family and friends.” He also introduced new technology, the world's first twist-wrapping machine, to wrap each chocolate in a distinctive wrapper. Unsurprisingly, given that the brand has been around for the best part of 85 years, there have been many flavours that had to be sacrificed to make way for the current crop. The new silver and gold-wrapped sweet is brown and white on the outside with crunchy pieces of biscuit inside. Shoppers at the Oxford Street branch of John Lewis in London, where the new variety went on sale on Tuesday, gave the new white chocolate variety their seal of approval.
