About this deal
Cleaning hard floors can be tedious, but the best mops have been designed with ease and efficiency in mind. It did require a little more effort to get our grouting in prime condition, but it cleaned up tea and oil an absolute treat.
Spritz and blitz your floors in record time with Vileda’s spray mop, which promises to cut your cleaning time in half (or more). Wiping down surfaces after food prep, folding and putting away laundry in between the episodes of your boxset marathon, and never leaving a room without straightening or neatening something all adds up, especially if you’re someone who works in the office for most of the working week. On test, it performed well across all types of flooring and picked up lots of dust without clogging. Hearst UK is the trading name of the National Magazine Company Ltd, 30 Panton Street, Leicester Square, London, SW1Y 4AJ.We enjoyed great results on wood laminate and vinyl flooring but the wringer didn't remove enough water. The mop head struggled to clean corners and grouting on test due its round shape, but it's machine washable and our floors were dry just 11 minutes after cleaning, making it a top all-rounder. It didn’t fare quite as well against dried mud on ceramic tiling, but if you have vinyl or linoleum flooring and convenience is at the top of your agenda, we highly recommend this power-meets-spray mop. The spray is a fine mist, which means it won’t swamp your floors but will still remove stains and spills effectively.
It uses steam to sanitise hard floors and tiled areas, allowing you to steam over stubborn stains using a manual pump in the handle. This smartly designed mop’s telescopic handle ensures comfortable cleaning for people of all heights. Changing the two reusable heads was also a doddle, and we like that it’s been treated with anti-bac protection to keep bacteria build-up at bay.
