About this deal

The rainbow is one of the most beautiful, naturally occurring phenomenons in nature. Scientifically speaking, rainbows appear in the sky when sunlight enters raindrops, causing dispersion and refraction of the light. But rainbows symbolize so much more than just a scientific anomaly. Bows appear again in the prophetic book of Revelation, which foretell the end of man's rule on the earth and the coming of Jesus to set up his Kingdom. The first mention in Revelation appears when the apostle John uses it to describe the glory and power of God on his throne.

Noah teaches mankind the seven basic rules to adhere to, conforming to the seven colors of the rainbow:Another reverse flood event was when God parted the Jordon River so that the Israelites could enter the Promised Land of Canaan after wandering in the desert for forty years. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. So the rainbow is not merely a symbol. It’s not simply part of an ancient story. It is a living example of God’s faithfulness. It is an assurance that God has not forgotten us and that he continues to work in this world.

Genesis 9:12-15 states: “And God said, ‘This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.’” But even without religious significance, red is a powerful color with strong emotion. It is a heavily pigmented color which naturally links it to strong feelings and emotions. Red is never used to illustrate weakness or subtlety. Instead, it is used in nearly every country and culture to designate danger or to issue a warning. The arc of colors in a rainbow—particularly the range from red, purple to blue—had religious significance for the early Hebrew people. God asked Moses to use the colors blue, purple, and scarlet in the curtains for His tabernacle, a portable temple for the Israelites on the way to the Promised Land ( Exodus 26:1). A mix of purple and blue, indigo is the color of the midnight sky. Because of this, indigo encourages individuals to think more deeply about life and has strong connections to spiritualism and inward thinking.Of course, there are quite a few otherdetails that we might notice from this story, such as God’s power over the elements as well as the constancy of seasons, earth rotations, and temperature changes on earth ( Genesis 8:22).
