Simon has an MA in Natural Sciences and a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Cambridge. This year, the changemaker team attended the 29th EVA conference in the prestigious Armourers Hall in the City of London.

The Ikea Effect is the idea that we always prefer something that we have contributed towards building or that we’ve built ourselves. Delegates were actively engaged throughout the event and made pledges at the end of the day around what they would do going forward.I've been following JB since years ago and when I got to read the free chapter, I knew this is a great book. I now realise that I already possessed a lot of the necessary leadership skills– I just needed the confidence to apply them. We asked ourselves – how can we do a performance with young people that really encompasses a sense of community? It might take a bit of work and some persistence, but we can indeed overcome, develop or even just enhance them with other types of thinking.
