About this deal

Shortly after Snoke insults Kylo Ren's Vader credentials, we get the helmet smashing scene, meaning Kylo's possibly believing it (TLJ makes us think, at least for a short while, that Rey can redeem him). Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, including the destruction of Kylo Ren's helmet aboard the Supremacy, to 34 ABY.

Although this helmet is not battle-scarred and is all white, it still includes similar features to the other Boba Fett helmet. This one also includes a range finder. The range finder still flips down and has glowing LED lights. On the interior is an illuminated heads-up display as well. The Knights of Ren and their master witnessed the helmet's reconstruction through the skilled metalwork of Albrekh.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary dates the events of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker as taking place one year after the " Starkiller Incident." As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the Starkiller Incident to 34 ABY, it can be deduced the events of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker take place in 35 ABY.

I said leave it! You cannot hide behind a mask here. You cannot pretend to be Vader in this place." ―Snoke, to Kylo Ren [18] Ren's helmet masked his physical and emotional scars that he sustained during the Battle of Starkiller Base. It also has adjustable straps and padding inside, making it wearable for all head sizes. The electric voice changers make your voice sound just like the troopers seen in The Mandalorian. This bright white replica of the troopers’ Phase II helmets was an exciting addition announced to come out in May of this year. The voice changer allows for voice distortion, making you sound just like a reg! J.J. Abrams Has Confirmed a Big Kylo Ren Fan Theory About Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker by Nero, Dom on www.esquire.com ( October 1, 2019): "J.J. Abrams confirmed in an interview with Empire that Kintsugi is a factor at play in Rise of Skywalker for Adam Driver's rage-induced dark lord. He said: "Having [Kylo Ren] be masked, but also fractured, is a very intentional thing. Like that classic Japanese process of taking ceramics and repairing them, and how the breaks in a way define the beauty of the piece as much as the original itself. As fractured as Ren is, the mask becomes a visual representation of that. There's something about this that tells his history. His mask doesn't ultimately hide him and his behavior is revealed."" Driver also shared that he "definitely" experienced a sense of ownership over Kylo Ren, but never felt like he had a full "control" of him and never shut himself off to ideas about where the character would go next. This was helpful going into The Rise of Skywalker and during the making of the film, which had huge responsibilities in following up a different director's artistic vision and concluding the Star Wars story that began over 40 years ago.

Initially, in The Last Jedi, he is insulted by Snoke: “You’re just a child... behind a mask.” Consequently, Kylo Ren smashes up his helmet, which I believe is a form of rejection of Snokes power over him, ultimately culminating to his assassination of Supreme Leader Snoke. It also hints at another reason, because he has found out the Sith aren't as dead as once thought. His idol in the Sith is of course Darth Vader, a masked ruler, and so if he is going to go down the Sith route again it's possible he is once again going to mimic Vader. Star Wars Helmet Collection 46 ( Highlights of the Saga: The Hunt for Luke Skywalker) (Picture only) Boba Fett sure is a popular character, as are his helmets. Another version was released in 2021. This design was styled after his helmet in The Mandalorian series. It includes the iconic weathering and beat-up look on the outside, along with a large dent on the left-hand side. Tales of Villainy: Follow and Lead depicts Kylo Ren wearing his helmet between the events of Episode VIII and Episode IX.With Kylo's arc coming to a close in The Rise of Skywalker (at least as far as we know as of this writing, prior to the release of the film), Driver undoubtedly had to get into a certain frame of mind when portraying the character. What helped him get there? The cast and crew, whom Driver said gave him "ideas in the moment"; the set, which he described as "so clear and beautiful and that gives so much information"; and, of course, Kylo's costume — new helmet and all. The helmet itself has all of the features of the plain white version. A great looking helmet for the collection! Just like the Poe Dameron helmet, Luke’s helmet doesn’t cover the entire face. It has attachable Velcro padding for the inside and a chin strap to make it a comfortable fit. In an interview between director JJ Abrams and Empire, he explains that "Having him be masked, but also fractured, is a very intentional thing. Like that classic Japanese process of taking ceramics and repairing them, and how the breaks in a way define the beauty of the piece as much as the original itself. As fracted as Ren is, the mask becomes a visual representation of that. There's something about this that tells his history. His mask doesn't ultimately hide him and his behavior is revealed."
