About this deal

You get a standard flap on the left side of the device, housing inputs for a wired remote, a Mini-USB port, and a Mini-HDMI port. An Optical Image Stabilizer helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed stops to better enable working in low-light conditions and with slower shutter speeds.

GadgetWard’s warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only, and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. As for the camera itself, the features offered are great, and really makes itself a compelling package for any prospective consumer out there. It would be a good way for absolute beginners to get the hang of what kind of settings are required for what kind of light, as long as they paid attention to it, but it would be just as easy to ignore for those who aren’t interested in learning. dot LCD offers a bright, clear image for playback and review, and built-in Wi-Fi with NFC also offers the ability to wirelessly share imagery from your camera to a linked mobile device for instant online sharing. It could be because I’m used to my big, tough workhorse full frame D-SLRs, but when I first pulled the 1500D out of its box I felt like I was holding a toy – it’s very light, plastic-y and small, weighing in at only 475 grams without a lens!

While the gameplay feels like a deva-ju from past Ubisoft titles, it provides a solid package of action-filled experience that Avatar fans will appreciate. The LCD screen, and also supports Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity so that you can instantly share your images and videos. Compact and capable, the Canon EOS 1500D is a sleek entry-level DSLR featuring versatile imaging capabilities and a helpful feature-set.

They also give the image sensor a better probability in identifying the right area of the scene to focus on in more automatic modes. Canon has made a name for itself being one of the best cameras that an amateur can use, thanks to the great ease of use it offers, and the 1300D was a great example of that.

The EOS 1500D, known as the Rebel T7 in the US, was released alongside the 3000D earlier this year, and it’s hard to talk about one without mentioning and comparing it to the other – they’re very similar cameras. In some occasions where we want to focus on birds, objects near rear of screen, manual focus need to be done. The Canon EOS 1500D packs in the same carbon-fiber reinforced polycarbonate body, and the design is ideal for one-handed usage, thanks to ample rubber cladding on the right side of the camera, which offers an ample amount of grip to the user. One aspherical element is featured in the lens design and helps to control spherical aberrations and distortion throughout the zoom range for consistent sharpness and clarity. If a problem occurs with a non-Canon lens attached to the camera, consult the respective lens manufacturer.

I was able to connect to my phone, swipe through all the images on the memory card, give my photos a star rating and transfer a bunch of my favourite jpegs easily and without a single app crash.

If you flip to Creative Auto mode, you’ll need to hit the Q button to open up your options – from there you can choose a different colour mode, a more or less blurred background, change drive modes and turn flash firing on and off. I love the idea of a mode that helps users achieve the image they want, and I think this could be a good stepping stone to learning to shoot on manual if used correctly. Heck, the camera works well for even professional photographers who want a side-kick to their main camera for easy one-handed usage in ideal conditions.
