The love for each other is very palpable since the very first pages of the book, Gabriel continues to be in control but at the same time, he is more aware of everything now that he has so much to care about. A curse as some of the uncertainty in their relationship disappeared, leaving out some of the hottest and angsty moments of the former books. And while the main focus of this book is how to overcome the obstacle of pursuing their careers and maintaining their family life, there is another plot that will likely be played out over the course of the next book (and more? With the release of Gabriel's Redemption in 2013, fans believed that was all for this beloved couple as their courtship had reached its culmination in the couple marrying and Reynard moved on to a new series. Though through all of their struggles, their highs and lows I found myself falling in love with them and their story over and over again.They still have enemies and the pettiness of stupid people are still shocking but bright side is the baby. First of all, let me start by saying that it was delightful to read once again a new story penned by Sylvain Reynard. There is also an element of suspense here as someone or something seems to challenge Gabriel and his new family. It really had great potential, but it ended up being a little like a secondary storyline just to have the mystery included, and it starts to fizzle after that above mentioned big event. However, adding to the story the right dose of humor, disagreements, intimacy, desire, and angst makes me believe that like Gabriel once suggested, we can truly turn fantasy into our reality.

I love Robyn Carr, (Virgin River) series, but I hate that they changed so much from her beautiful books.Hoping this isn’t the end as I would love to lose myself in Gabriel and Julianne’s story for a little longer. Readers adored their love stories, as I did, so this was fun to be immersed in their world at catch up with the changes in Gabriel and Julia's lives.
