About this deal

A thrilling and hugely entertaining adventure story’ – David Walliams on The Highland Falcon Thief, the first journey in the Adventures on Trains series. All-aboard for the fourth amazing journey in the bestselling Adventures on Trains series from M. G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman, illustrated throughout by Elisa Paganelli.

The Arctic Railway Assassin can be read as a stand-alone novel, or enjoyed as part of the award-winning Adventures on Trains series written by M. G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman. Join Hal and Uncle Nat on more stops in this thrilling series with: Murder on the Safari Star, Danger at Dead Man's Pass and Sabotage on the Solar Express. PDF / EPUB File Name: The_Arctic_Railway_Assassin_-_MG_Leonard.pdf, The_Arctic_Railway_Assassin_-_MG_Leonard.epub Well, I don't know about anyone else I really want to go on a fancy train journey. Although I'd prefer not to meet any murderers along the way. This particular train sounds just right because whilst I don't like the cold the idea of a Christmas market somewhere snowy and the Northern Lights as well would sell it to me. But the mystery of Morti's disappearance continues with them. There is someone on board that wants something and they suspect Hal and Nat have it.It scarcely seems possible that the sixth book in this amazing series is here and yet it is. Having followed Hal’s adventures since Book 1, the news that this is the last in that series has come as a bit of a nasty surprise to me but having read this I can tell you that this is, like the titles that precede it, an incredible adventure that will not leave fans disappointed and a brilliantly written ending to the stories which have thrilled so many.

Bestselling author Alexandra Christo, author of TikTok sensation To Kill a Kingdom, introduces her new book, The Night Hunt (Hot Key Books), a dark... Hal is completing his usual drawings all the time, he is particularly fascinated by the train stations which are cavernous and like art galleries! Whilst waiting for the Narvik train he draws an orchestral group, one of the players sees and introduces herself. They are on the same train as they are due to play in Abisko.

Thank you Macmillan Publishers and Netgalley for letting me read this early in exchange for a review! All opinions are mine 😀 Hal’s drawings continue to be essential in his crime-solving abilities. He uses them as time to think and as evidence of what he’s observed. Elisa Paganelli’s illustrations are a huge part of what makes this series so special. She has cleverly helped Hal to grow in maturity and skill with each book. A thrilling and hugely entertaining adventure story' - David Walliams on The Highland Falcon Thief, the first journey in the Adventures on Trains series. As with the other five Adventures on Trains mysteries, you never know who you’re going to meet or what will happen next. The action never slows, not even for a moment. Readers have no choice but to hold on for the ride, breathlessly searching for clues and trying to find the answers before it’s too late.

In Danger at Dead Man’s Pass (book 4 in the Adventures on Trains series), we learned about Uncle Nat’s mysterious past. In this new adventure, his Cold War connections lead the pair into very real danger. This extra layer to the story is incredibly intriguing – I want to know more about Uncle Nat’s life before the train mysteries began! As with the other books in the series, this works very well as a standalone read but there is such enormous pleasure to be gained from all of the titles that I really would recommend starting your reading from the beginning. Throughout the series, the stories have been greatly complemented by the artistic skills of Elisa Paganelli, whose maps and illustrations are a joy to behold, and this title is no exception. From here they continue their journey, but what is happening. Who is the man? Lars they decide is the man in Hal's drawing - he looks like The Shadow but he's not. The success of this series is not at all surprising as every book not only introduces the reader to a new location- and a new train- but also a brilliant new mystery to solve. I can’t wait to see what Hal gets up to next!
