Talc is a controversial ingredient but for men who prefer the feel and performance of talc, there simply is no substitute. Technically speaking, talc particles are in fact smaller than cornstarch particles so when it comes to smoothness talc powder holds the upper hand over cornstarch based formulations. In regards to preventing sweat, odor, and chafing – I personally don’t notice a huge difference between talc and cornstarch – but that’s just me.
