About this deal

This is a leather fragrance released in 2010 and made by Karine Vinchon Spehner. It’s comprised of spices, herbs, and a combination of rich, oriental base notes, making for a unique and interesting scent. This is a fresh spicy and woody cologne that radiates sophistication making it a must-try for all fragrance lovers. Journey Man opens with an array of freshly aromatic spices that are intense and will immediately take your breath away. Along with the spices, which have peppery undertones, we also have the sour, citrusy bergamot drifting throughout, which cools the spices and is immensely refreshing. The neroli and bergamot are fresh and vibrant with green and aromatic undertones. The opening of this cologne is immediately bold and strong with a sweet and spicy scent. There’s sweetness coming from the notes of mandarin and the several resinous notes, and these are paired with a bunch of spicy notes. Although strong and sweet, there is also a fresh influence as well. Hints of rose and ginger balance out the initial hit, making it much nicer and smoother. The base notes provide an earthy, warm and incredibly rich foundation for this beautifully complex scent. The incense is rich with an underlying smokiness and blends with the woody notes perfectly. The tonka bean is warm and spicy, continuing the spiciness throughout the entire cologne. During the dry down, we also feel the presence of the musk, which is powdery and textured, which really rounds off the scent.

This fragrance opens with floral notes; they have a musty, aromatic and earthy scent while the Chrysanthemum has spicy and green facets. They both retain the traditional floral smell making this a mystifying yet natural and light opening. I spent the day with Myths Man and still don’t know what to think of it as a whole. I guess the fact that I *am* even thinking about it is a commendation of sorts, although usually I don’t go out of my way to do so when it comes to perfume. Amouage Epic Man is an amber woody fragrance released in 2009. It’s the embodiment of luxury as it encompasses rich woody notes, spices, and incense; it’s smoky and aromatic and is all-around a stunning fragrance. Made by Randa Hammami, this cologne has been a favorite among Amouage fans.I've smelled almost all Amouage fragrances but have bought only two: Jubilation XXV and Gold Man. Most of the Amouage perfumes don't suit me; when I wear them, they make me feel "mature," serious, and their heavy-opaque feel and scents are uncomfortable. I don't think of myself as a careFREE guy, effervescing all over town, a giggle-box. I like sober scents, too, at times, but ones that float, like spirits. Amouage perfumes often sit, heavily, on me. (Yes, I've tried the Sunshines...no thanks.) This is like that girl you didn't think you would be digging, and the more you talk to her, the more she intrigues you. The personality, the depth, the slight attraction. & even after all that, you still aren't sure. The fragrance opens with the hot and spicy pepper combined with the aromatic oregano. In amongst this warm spiciness, we feel the presence of the cool and refreshing bergamot, which is sour, juicy, and vibrant. This creates a nice contrast that beautifully opens this cologne.

The heart includes more uncommon fragrance notes such as rum, which is boozy, sweet, and warm, adding a dash of serious class. The elemi is warm and cozy and the other notes incorporate a range of mustiness, spice, and smokiness with green undertones that intertwine and revitalize the senses. In amongst these warm, aromatic notes, we also have rose, which feels like a breath of fresh air; it’s fresh and clean with a powdery aroma reminiscent of soap. The initial strength of the spices dies down as the green and aromatic floral notes move into the forefront. The nutmeg is spicy and sweet with strong woody undertones; combined with the elemi, this gives the fragrance a strong oriental feel. This oriental feel is a fantastic continuation of the already oriental-leaning opening. Her reaction was worth seeing! Face contorted in disgust with a pained cry and a fervent plea for me to wash it off.As a performer, it doesn’t disappoint. Projecting a proud 5ft+ radius for the entire performance, and enveloping every room you’ve been in with its lingering sillage. It never dies down throughout its fragrant evolution, and deserves every bit of attention it commands.
