About this deal

Any extended warranties offered by Peter Tyson are free. We do not include any form of insurance terms such as accidental damage or loan equipment cover. The speakers are fronted by magnetic cloth-covered grilles. A rear-mounted bass reflex HiVe II port enhances bass response. This new Bronze model also features a larger volume capacity, apparently further improving that bass response. We’ll see. Audioengine A2+ has woofer and tweeter in it. It is suitable for music, movies and games. Voices are crystal-clear and the soundstage is good. It can deliver natural sound that is closer to the original recording. Bass is quite good and remains enjoyable for most contents. In case you are a bass head, an external subwoofer is best for you. The manufacturer quotes a frequency response of 62Hz to 25kHz in a free field (i.e. without room boundaries) and 40Hz to 30kHz in-room; cheekily though this is at -6dB points which rather flatters the figures. A growing number of manufacturers are moving away from the standard -3dB points, for some strange reason. Still, you could argue this is a little academic; the more important real-world measurements are nominal impedance (specified at 8 ohms, so it’s an easy load) and sensitivity (85dB/2.83v/1m, which is on the low side, so you’ll need a reasonably powerful amp to drive it). Audioengine A2+ is best for small spaces. It is designed to use as desktop speaker with your PC or laptop. It can also replace soundbars in small rooms as it connects to PC as well.

Unfortunately, our Installation Service excludes all gas appliances. It is the customer’s responsibility to find a gas safe engineer to connect the appliance. Any work conducted by a third part gas safe engineer will be at the customer’s expense and we will not accept any liability for their work. What the Monitor Audio 50 speakers do though is to provide you with a specific and definite choice in sonic direction. And it’s one you should get excited about. You really should. The Monitor Audio 50s really surprised me. They are lively and nimble, with a delicious blend of midrange insight and pace, a spacious soundstage and surprisingly massy bass for its cabinet size. It’s an approach that has given Monitor Audio plenty of plaudits, awards and customers over the years. And, with it, the worry that accompanies each successive generational evolution. Lightning leakage. Welcome to Bronze 6G and the lineup’s floostanding flagship.

Edifier R1280DB is a budget-friendly bookshelf speaker that offers you enjoyable listening experience. Even at this low price you get additional features like remote control, EQ controls and several connection ports. It is versatile in terms of connectivity. Wired connection options are plenty. You can connect gaming devices, CD player, turntable, or TV with RCA ports. It supports external subwoofer with RCA out port. Bluetooth connection remains stable within a long distance of 100ft. Audioengine A2+ is an excellent wireless active bookshelf speaker. It shines in terms of performance and features. You are free to connect different types of devices. It can be used in home or office rooms. -Read We play a wide range of recordings, from Bruce Springsteen’s High Hopes and Kanye West’s Yeezus right through to Ólafur Arnalds’s Found Songs, and note the Bronze’s continued inability to fully communicate the music’s passion and subtlety.

Klipsch R-51M doesn’t have any remote control. It is a passive speaker that connects to an amp and then you can easily control it. C-CAM mid-bass driver featuring updated cone geometries and Damped Concentric Mode (DCM) technology which allows the speaker to have a deeper, fuller sound while retaining a clean and precise presentation

As a reviewer, I am frequently spoiled by the hardware that passes through for testing. I’ve listened to some truly outstanding - and expensive - speakers over the last year or so. Despite this, I have an ongoing soft spot for affordable hardware that is done well. Speakers like the Mission LX-2 and products like the Rega Planar 1 Plus and Yamaha WX-AD10 are fine examples of equipment that punches well above its weight. Given Monitor Audio’s form over the last few years, I had high hopes for the Monitor 50. The choice of four modern finishes and stylish contrasting baffle give the Bronze 50s a superior appearance and ensure they will complement the décor of any room. Should you prefer to have the speakers mounted on the wall, there’s an option to do so utilising the rear fixing point and FIX-M speaker mount. The driver material is chosen in such a way that it produces natural sound quality. Beside the drivers there is a single bass port in each speaker. This means you can place it very close to walls without worrying about bass performance. It can produce detailed and balanced sound. Voices are loud and clear. Along with choosing the best amplifier, to enhance the performance you can add a subwoofer to the Klipsch R-51M. -Read
