I had no trouble getting my battery in or out. The compartment is snug but not so tight that it will damage battery wraps. If you are a fan of the Aegis, Aegis Mini or Aegis solo design you will be a fan of the Aegis Max design. I believe this mostly depends on if the mod is or dual battery, either way I’m delighted to see that Aegis Max has the screw cap.The Aegis Max 2 box mod is powered by either a single 18650 or 21700 battery (Not Included) through the use of an adaptor, the Aegis Max will deliver up to 100W power output and features variable wattage and temperature vaping modes. It's also driven by an intelligent chipset which ensures fast firing speeds and safety protections we've all come to expect from Geek Vape mods. Raise or lower it to get hard throat hits or mellow and pleasurable experiences. Moreover, the Aegis Max is equipped with all of the typical safety features of a box mod, such as 10-second cut-off, short circuit, overcharge, overheat, over-current, anti-dry protection, and the safeguards for extra durability. Aegis Max is paired with Geekvape Zeus Sub Ohm Tank via threaded 510 connection. The UI is the same as the Aegis Solo. It displays your mode and wattage at the top of the screen , followed by a battery life indicator, coil resistance, amperage, voltage, and a puff counter. The tank is awesome and the coils CAN be awesome but it is all down to each individual coil. They all perform great but one coil might last 4 weeks and the next might last just a few days.

Protections include overheat, overtime and short circuit protection. Easily adjust these vape settings via a 1.08 inch full colour display screen. Just because the chip doesn’t have any new features, it doesn’t mean it makes it not worthy of consideration. You still have everything you will ever need in a mod – variable wattage, temp control for Ni200, SS, Ti and TCR, power curve mode, and bypass mode.
