Chapman is a maestro at building grim suspense to the point of unimaginable consequences, proving genuine horror dwells in the world we live in today. But she’s cackling like an absolute candyflipping witch, rolling around in the grass, so we know she’s still breathing. It's as though Chapman is trying too hard to be hip and cutting-edge, or at least to make his characters out to be, and that makes for a lot of choppy and nonsensical sentences. Though the project itself is new the humans/creatures involved have been in the music and entertainment industry for more than a decade. Finally arriving in Mayfair the next morning, he finds refuge at the Lafayette House but doesn't reveal his ordeal.
