The larger, flat edges provide a larger sweet spot enabling big hits up into the air or drives down the ground and minimizing edged shots. The enhanced bow design allows the batsman to play belligerent shots and the extra weight on the lower end can be an excellent resource on pitches with lower bounce. The edges are close to the 40 mm mark which is considered ideal by many professional players. The wide surface makes for a larger sweet spot that helps in middling the ball every time.
