About this deal

I'd ask them out and pretend I hardly ever did "this kind of thing" and say that I hadn't been out a lot in London because I didn't really know the scene.

It was after my crazy night with Pen (more on that in a minute) that I realized I had found my niche in life. He goes through a series of women, essentially trying to get them to fall in love with him and then ignoring them/ghosting.I also learned something about the physiology of love and heartbreak: "I read somewhere that when someone is in emotional shock, the area around the heart loses some of its protective fat and is therefore dangerously exposed. I think this book was more written so that people could go into his mind and somewhat understand that there is more to the picture that him just being a bad person. Get good at chess; there is nothing more humiliating for a man than to be beaten intellectually by a beautiful woman. There aren't any likeable characters in this book, but it is impossible to put down, so I had to give it at least three stars for its readability. The Air We Breathe by Andrea Barrett is an accurate representation of tuberculosis patients' lives in sanitariums during the World War I.

It was really interesting to read from a narcissist sociopath's point of view, reading how his mind worked, how people like him think and react. I'd ask them out and pretend I hardly ever did "this kind of thing', I hadn't been out a lot in London because I didn't really know the scene. a lot of people who have read it have completely missed the point that he is narcissist and he is an unreliable narrator because he is so paranoid, which is caused by his overwhelming victim complex. Under federal law, if you knowingly misrepresent that online material is infringing, you may be subject to criminal prosecution for perjury and civil penalties, including monetary damages, court costs, and attorneys’ fees. I wouldn’t recommend starting this book, if the reader doesn’t have time to read a majority of the book in one sitting.I didn't know if I was going to be able to finish this book, given how much I hated the beginning, but, just like the numerous women in his diary, I was drawn into the Oxygen Thief's lair and then (gasp) began to feel sorry for him. it's a diary that’s why the writing is all over the place with no plot, that’s what I loved about the book. It's an unapologetic and even romanticized account of a manipulative and narcissistic garbage dump of a person who hurts people without remorse and paints himself as a victim (which, by the way, is bullshit). All those intimate moments, every little sigh, those gentle touches, the lovemaking, the confidences, the orgasms, the attempted orgasms, all mere fuel.
