About this deal

The system would need to allow all 4 of us to talk at will, and require no pressing of buttons or anything while underway, no distractions. Full-face helmet riders can use the supplied button mic that can neatly be placed behind the back of helmet cheek pads. You can clip mount the B4FM to a helmet easily by slipping the clip side in between the internal padding and the external shell of the helmet. After fiddling around with the instructions, I finally was able to get all 4 working, seemed like a small miracle though and I was not entirely sure I could do it again.

If you're like me and tend to shout loudly over exhaust pipes and road winds, you can easily pierce your buddy's ears. Where I had to McGyver things was where the wires come out of the helmet to the unit, my cheek padding needed a cutout to pas the wires. When B4FM-1 is connected to my G9 mobile-1 it disconnect the B4FM-2 and as soon as the B4FM-1 disconnect, the B4FM-2 connects with my G9 mobile-2.

Being motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, we understand the importance of having reliable electronics when you're on the road. Coming home Planet Rock and once off the A1 I could hear the music but by no means clear (again when slowing down as soon as below 50 things became clear). After-sales service: If you encounter any problems during use, please contact the after-sales personnel first, and we will provide satisfactory after-sales service and suitable solutions.

You can then turn on the connections by pressing the intercom button on one of the bridges to start the bridge to bridge connection, then each end unit until all 4 intercoms are talking. We took off and almost immediately I was able to hear wind noise from her mic, however she reported my mic was quiet. This tiny motorcycle tech is rugged enough to ride with the toughest of riders through the roughest of rides. The one piece of motorcycle equipment/gear that didn’t give into the hazards of the elements was the LEXIN B4FM Bluetooth Headset.

The majority of riders on the road will more than likely be using the more popular brands that provide better universal intercom compatibility. I've got a set as well, and also have an AGV helmet, and my g/f also has a modular helmet (boom mic) - although hers is mounted on the left side, like yours and mine. Bad points on the way in this morning I tried Radio 4 for the news and over 60mph which lets face it on a ZRX on A roads is pretty much all the time almost inaudible, in defence of the unit I have a very loud open pipe and I don't tend to hang about lol. Decision time: With a lot of information read and a lot of Youtube videos watched, I decided to give the Lexin B4FM a try. The process of going in and out of intercom mode whenever you need to say something to fellow ride buddies can get annoying.

It kills the audio of any non-LEXIN device that establishes the first direct bridge connection with you. You can do this if your only connected to one other unit, it's the bridge functionality that stops the Bluetooth, so just have 2 people doesn't require a bridge and then you get full functionality. Simply slide the clip between the shell and EPS cushion, or if desired, the 3M Scotch double-sided adhesive may be used to affix the bracket directly to the surface of the helmet.I had to use the boom microphone on her helmet and ended up using a bit of hot glue to keep the wires from flopping around. Built-in 4k cameras and AI voice assistants are nice but sometimes you just need a digital detox away from all the device trackers and social media posts. I like the idea of being able to listen to my music on long journeys or sat nav and being able to answer the phone to my mates. I’ve tested the B4FM on an Icon Alliance helmet for sportsbike-style riding, and on a Shoei RF-SR helmet for standard cruise riding.

Adjust the direction of the microphone so that the triangular mark on the microphone is pointing towards your mouth. Next, the microphones on the boom are directional, it say's outside on it and you better install it with the words away from you, otherwise you will get very low volume and a lot of background wind noise. I did notice that the boom mic's have an orientation making and my wife's was facing front instead of back, so I was hoping that might help with the wind noise, but I was not very optimistic.I don't think owners that are afraid to get their fancy bikes dirty and expensive gear wet are LEXIN'S intended target market either.
