Any Hawkwind fan would no doubt have the aforementioned albums as they are the classics that launched this incredible band.

It's hypnotic rhythm accompanied by noises of wind, explosions and other indefinable sounds created by Dik Mik's audio generators was an epiphone and it's still my favourite Hawkwind track. Holding the vinyl album cover while 'Master of the Universe' emerged slowly, kicked in and held its hypnotic rhythm I took in the statue-like figure with the Ohm symbol on him (the Master of the Universe? This very concise album along with the previous year's Roadhawks compilation together make a stunning introduction to Hawkwind's early years with the Liberty and United Artists labels.His latest release, “The Last Big Score,” is a testament to his songwriting prowess, featuring memorable hooks and an undeniable energy that shines in both his live performances and .

I have enjoyed this band since the 70's and would say that this is certainly one of their best albums (. and his death-like minion on the lofty escarpment, the mountains being leeched of colour and clarity as they recede into the far beyond.Cress Lucid from PortugalNik Turner, who i knew in his latter years, was the man, the energy and soul of the hawk saga which is now a space ritualised space falcon. The vinyl may have been one of the best compilations in the late 70s of the band, but the CD does not warn that it is a compilation in any way!

At the time I was very into heavy metal, and I knew Lemmy had been in Hawkwind, I thought the album had an air of mystique about it so bought it. Few picks from their "Space Ritual" double live album, and Lemmy's proto-MOTÖRHEAD song from "The Hall of The Mountain Grill".The track’s simplicity and easygoing atmosphere make it an enjoyable addition to the indie music scene.

Fissinger’s musical approach is refreshingly uncomplicated, allowing the beauty of the song’s simplicity to shine through. By the time Hawkwind went on the Space Ritual tour, Anderson had departed and Lemmy had joined the band, with his partnership with Brock giving the track a much heavier, driving sound.
