About this deal

There is a reason why this show doesn't score perfect. It has its flaws, as everything does. But there is also a reason why it scores so high. After being sent away, Mikasa notices several Military Police soldiers enter Zachary's office and decides to eavesdrop; Armin tries to persuade her not to, but she insists on knowing what direction the Scout Regiment is going. Suddenly, she grabs Armin and dives away just as an explosion goes off in Zachary's office. They both go outside and see Zachary's dismembered corpse from the blast; Mikasa is speechless about who could have been behind the assassination as the crowd of protesters chant in approval.

Mikasa is then seen to be a part of the 57th expedition. [15] The 57th Exterior Scouting Mission arc As Hannes is killed and the battle turns against the soldiers around them, Eren falls into despair, feeling that he has never had the power to do anything. Mikasa asks him to listen to her. He showed her how to live with purpose and he wrapped his scarf around her, and for that she is grateful. She smiles, with tears in her eyes, and Eren vows to wrap that scarf around her as many times as she wants. [36] Mikasa is among the Scouts that meet with an ambassador from the nation of Hizuru named Kiyomi Azumabito. At a meeting between the two parties, Kiyomi displays the crest of the Azumabito clan and Mikasa is shaken to see it is the same as the tattoo on her wrist. After some prompting by Eren, Mikasa shares it, saying that her mother gave it to her as a girl and to pass it down to her children later on.As the group touches down in Fort Salta, Mikasa begins suffering from another headache, grieving that the last conversation she had with Eren ended with him claiming he hated her. The group is relieved to see that Reiner survived Armin's transformation, but they are disheartened to see that Eren and the centipede also survived. The world itself is scarier than the world of the Hunger Games. And I think what makes it scary is the fact that humanity has never won against the Titans, ever. For the past who-knows-how-many-years, Titans have been eating humans. Annie saves Mikasa from the Armor, but the two of them and Conny are left surrounded as the okapi flees to Bertholdt's Colossal Titan. Just as they are about to be overwhelmed, Bertholdt's Titan intervenes and begins fighting alongside them. Mikasa uses the opportunity to pursue the okapi again and is finally able to cut Armin out of its mouth after Gabi shoots it in the head. Jean manages to detonate Eren's nape thanks to the help of their new allies and Mikasa joins her friends in evacuating atop Falco's Titan so that Armin can transform. Following the Scout Regiment's failure, Armin manages to convince Annie to help him and Mikasa sneak Eren out of Stohess District until they can gather evidence to prove to the King that the Walls need to be protected better. However, when Annie makes excuses not to go underground with them, Mikasa gets fed up and draws her blade. [29]

Like most things out there, SNK does have its flaws. But the flaws are so minuscule that it's very, very hard to notice them. The brilliant storytelling of this series completely blew me away from episode 1, which is why it deserves a near perfect score.

Overall the characters could've been worse, I mean at least they have character consistency, they are given some focus and I should probably applaud them for not being overly sexualized, which is a very rare thing in anime these days. But I have no clue what people see in them since most of them are pretty simple and feel ridiculously out of place. Mikasa is one of eight characters to have her own song. The others being Eren, Armin, Jean, Levi, Erwin, Reiner, and Bertholdt. Out of the eight characters to have a song, Mikasa is the only female character. Mikasa's song is called No matter where you are. There's also another notable character named Jean, who's kinda like the Vegeta or the rival in a shonen series. And much like Vegeta, he's the only one who goes through actual growth and he even reacts to the events in a way that resembles a human being. Too bad he wasn't the main character, he suits the grim setting much better than the others. heights far beyond that of The Future Diary. Then, in the Spring of 2013, we were treated to what one could consider the Game of Thrones or the Breaking Bad of the anime industry in terms of sheer popularity; a show that completed engulfed the entire anime community, dwarfing even SAO in popularity, but is this anime truly worthy of the hype that it received?

This made the whole world look kind of sci-fi, but also, kind of not. The 3D Maneuver Gears are as close as we can get to a ‘high tech’ fictional gadget in this world. Every other man made thing you see in the anime is pretty mundane. But the function of it makes the people actually fly. It’s a pretty brilliant concept, and I like how something as complicated as that is a seemingly-ordinary thing for them. Plus, it makes the animation really cool to watch. You gotta respect the amount of effort (and physics, I bet) put just to make sure each maneuver looks even just a little legit. Granted, Eren, the angry one has good reasons to be angry, it's completely understandable. Unfortunately, that's pretty much all he is and it's probably not the best idea to have him as a main character since it gets old really fast.As they draw near to Eren, Mikasa experiences another strong headache and is suddenly brought into a Paths place by Eren. Mikasa is living in isolation with Eren following their decision to run away from the Paradis-Marleyan conflict. Eren notices that Mikasa has been crying, and Mikasa wonders if it is okay for her to be there. Eren muses that the only option they had was to run away and live out the rest of his four years in peace together, since he could not bring himself to allow Historia to suffer or to Rumble the people living outside the Walls. If you are the party leader, for each party member equipping Lieutenant Cape or Captain’s Cape: You gain 2.5% to all stats, while other party members gain 1.5% to all stats. AOT Evolution Drop Chances must defend ourselves. Many, many iconic shows start from this format. However, SNK (as I will be calling it for the rest of the review) takes this simple plot point and expands it into something very, very unique. We have the Titans: giant, humanoid creatures set on devouring humans. Because of the Titans, humanity has been driven behind three walls, with the population dwindling to less than 1% of our current population. Art is completely subjective. I would not actually judge art based on someone's own opinion. You would really have to see it for yourself to deem whether it is "good" or not. As for me, it seemed fairly mediocre. The effort is there, but something with the art style simply does not jive with me. The settings are well done, but the characters are quite bland.

Her eye color is not consistent and often varies, depending on the light and surroundings, between shades of gray and occasionally blue. Her body has been depicted as extremely well-toned, with little, if any, in the way of body fat and muscles lined throughout her arms, legs, and abs. Mikasa also has a small scar below her right eye, which she received after Eren unknowingly attempted to kill her in his Titan form. [9] Each character in this series serves a purpose. The main characters, the main supporting characters, the regular supporting characters- each and every one of them is important. There is a lot of death in this show, but every single death we see is important to the story and the character development. And while some deaths may seem insignificant, they really aren't. The entire emotional journey of this series stems from the characters, and SNK has pretty powerful ones. One year after retaking Shiganshina, Mikasa goes with the other members of the Scouts to intercept a survey ship sent from Marley. Like the others present, Mikasa is surprised to see two sailors rebel and force the others to surrender. While watching the two meet with Levi and Hange, Mikasa ponders what their plan might be while trying to wake up Sasha.
