We have produced these simple instructions to help our customers get the best possible results from La Riche Directions Hair Dye. Read the instructions thoroughly before dying your hair as well as the helpful dos and don'ts sections. Step 1 - Patch Test In the unlikely event that you find you have had a reaction to the product. Don't proceed any further and stop using them immediately. Step 2 - Strand Test Make sure to avoid using conditioner before application – conditioner eliminates natural oils that help the colour bind to your hair more easily. Make sure to wash your hair with a pH balanced Pre Colour Shampoo prior to colouring your hair to leave it in the best condition to take on your colour of choice. Simply then leave towel dried, so that it is still damp.

If lightening your hair (which is recommended for best results): make sure you use a hot oil or intense conditioner. This will leave an oily layer so make sure to shampoo before dying. We strongly recommend investing in a Mixing Bowl Tint Brush, Mixing Bowl and a pair of Latex Gloves to keep colour where you want it, and nowhere you don’t. Once you have the art of blending down, then take a leaf out of our stylist's book. Using Turquoise at the roots, then melting into a mix of Spring Green with Fluorescent Green.
