About this deal

Performance against other processors was quite mixed and varied by the game, with the Ryzen 5 5600X3D’s worst showing overall in the Bioshock game. If they scrambled jet interceptors every time anyone says anything that might be considered threatening, despite no prior history of doing anything wrong and no other signs of it being a serious threat, then you'd have them in the air 24/7.

If it's really something like what said in those articles : "I'm a member of Taliban and on my way to bomb the plane", he reap what he sow. Some motherboard makers do have unofficial workarounds to enable various levels of overclocking for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and it’s likely those same unofficial (and warranty-voiding) options will also be available for the 5600X3D.

The demanding Y-cruncher benchmark computes Pi with the AVX instruction set and has optimizations for both Intel and AMD’s architectures. Notably, AMD’s new Zen 3 architecture has vastly improved single-core performance and lower memory latency, which leads to a significant effective speed advantage over its predecessor, the 3600X. At least for non-US users, 5700X provides comparable performance if you don't have a 4090/4080 or such (probably step up to AM5 if you spend that much on GPUs). The Ryzen 5 5600X3D is actually faster than the Ryzen 5 5600X in the x264 HandBrake test, and our power logging indicates that the chip ran at a higher power draw, and thus higher all-core frequency, during this benchmark. A durable and reliable machine that is relatively lightweight, has all the hardware it needs to never feel sluggish and has a great IPS matte screen.

I would like the 5600X3D for its large VRAM cache, but worry about temps, especially if I recycle and reuse the AMD Wraith Prism cooler. That would be like expecting people to complain about not being able add bandwidth to the built-in NIC on their motherboard. Intel's 12th Gen "Alder Lake" processors were the first consumer processors to support DDR5, and as such they only have official support for the JEDEC DDR5 standard, which is set at 4,800MHz.The attack that caused airport security to be the way it is was carried out by people who were already known to law enforcement and could (and should) have been stopped upon checking their documents; cases of people getting through modern airport security and carrying out any kind of attack currently sit squarely at 0 as far as I know. Consoles generally initially sell at a loss and just make up the difference in software and accessory margins until production costs come down for the hardware to be profitable. Due to the differences in motherboard, these numbers need to be taken with a pinch of salt except when comparing chips on the same platform.
