About this deal

The thing is, you will have to invest time into this book since it is a workbook, I know that’s not easy for the ADHD brain, I just set a timer 20 minute timer to read and reflect on the prompts every morning that I woke up and finished the book in about a month. I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this beautiful piece. For anyone who has just recently been diagnosed, or is afraid to speak up to their family and friends about your condition, this is the confidence boost and self-clarity you need.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my senior year of high school. It has impacted me immensely over the years because it seemed like yet another obstacle for me to “get over”. The solutions they DO talk about come with caveats like, strategies need to be personalized, and come from a place of power instead of pain. Overall, here’s the big idea the authors (who earned bonus points for being women with adhd themselves) state that moved me: A Radical Guide for Women with ADHD is the first guided workbook for women with ADHD designed to break the cycle of negative self-talk and shame-based narratives that stem from the common and limiting belief that brain differences are character flaws. In this unique guide, you'll find a ground-breaking approach that blends traditional ADHD treatment with contemporary treatment methods, such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), to help you untangle yourself from the beliefs that have kept you from reaching your potential in life. Plus when you sign up, you'll also get access to an exclusive updated PDF excerpt from Sari's celebrated book, Journeys Through ADDulthood.

It’s supposed to be empowering, and client stories — to be relatable. But as for me it looked like the narrator’s voice is pityful and they feel really sorry for you and want to guide you. Like you are some little helpless creature not being able to stand for yourself. Never in my adult life as a woman, have I found a tool so useful and empowering in regards to my ADHD, which has been absolutely debilitating in the past. I recommend this book to everybody I know who struggles with ADHD symptoms, as well as to the people who love them and want to understand them. My perspective on ADHD has shifted to the point that I hardly notice it as an inconvenience. I feel much more acceptance, ease and joy in my life, and a general sense of optimism and excitement for the days to come.

Embrace Neurodiversity, Live Boldly, and Break Through Barriers

In this marvelous workbook, Sari Solden and Michelle Frank sensitively guide women with ADHD to increase their understanding and self-acceptance; stop feeling shame, hiding, and listening to negative messages; identify and pursue their special talents and dreams; restore wholeness and authenticity; connect meaningfully with others; use professional help wisely; and create an effective action plan for living fully as women with ADHD in an empowered way. Above all, from the first to the last word, the authors show a level of understanding and empathy for women with ADHD, along with an ability to help them, that goes light years beyond all similar books.” I didn’t really decide to learn about my disability until about a year ago, when my therapist recommended reading materials for my ADHD and I stumbled across this book via Audible. I realized that, by learning more about my ADHD, I am finally putting MYSELF in control. Our lives can be very, very messy and chaotic, and some people have problems with that. Society puts a ton of pressure on us to be a certain way, wake up between certain hours and have certain types of jobs.
