I have heard many a good thing about air fryers in general, my mum and one of my sisters have them so it made sense that I would want to try too! The recipe book that comes with the Cosori 5.5L has more recipes than other brands supply, but it caters more for an American audience than a UK one. The recipes are still usable and can be a great starting point. It’s compact yet large enough to cook sizeable portions. Although it’s not a multi-cooker or suitable for larger families, it does an excellent job for its size and capabilities.

Not only is it larger in capacity, but I also prefer the basket design. The Cosori 5.5L has a basket that can be released from the drawer rather than fixed. Although it has proved sturdy to date, it doesn’t feel as durable as the Dual Blaze, which is an all-in-one basket (although you can still remove the plate inserts). Although I am still in the middle of testing the Cosori Dual Blaze, I have been impressed by its performance and convenience. It cooks food fast and evenly, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The COSORI Air Fryer arrives in a large box and comes fully assembled and ready to plug in and go. It's got a basket that sits inside a drawer on the lower portion of the fryer. You can slide forward a plastic panel to press a button and remove the basket from the drawer, which removes the basket full of your air-fried food on the attached handle. The design is reminiscent of the Proscenic T21 Smart Air Fryer, but it feels less flimsy and the basket doesn't hang off the handle quite so much. The basket and crisper plate are both dishwasher-safe, and the crisper plate’s silicone corners allow for smooth removal, making clean-up really easy.
