About this deal

Read more about the condition New other (see details): A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. I took a little makeup bag with me on an overnight trip a couple of months ago and then when I got home again from my travels I forgot to unpack it. She is a pro makeup artist and used to be a MAC trainer so she is awesome at makeup and teaching others about makeup). The UK version has alcohol listed as the very LAST ingredient, whereas the US has alcohol denat right at the top of the list. I’d go on about the bouncy, fresh-looking finish again too but things would start to get repetitive so let’s move on to the negatives.

Today I will be reviewing and comparing the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundationand the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation.

ca/-/media/project/loreal/brand-sites/oap/americas/ca/articles/blog/cosmetics/the-best-foundation-for-every-skin-type. The oilier you are, the oilier this foundation will make you look unless you use some type of mattifier; which defeats the purpose of this foundation. Unfortunately, in the continuing saga of American cosmetic apartheid, it appears that many of the usual outlets for L’Oreal makeup have refused to carry the darker shades.

Obviously, I have not tried wearing this foundation for 24 hours, but it does last an extremely long amount of time and looks better throughout the day.

I have t-zone oily areas (forehead, nose, and chin) and the rest of my face is generally normal (depending on the time of year). While mostly everyone is loving this new base that is targeted to dry skin types, many have complained at the lack of dark shades for deeper skin tones. I know it's been out for over a year now, but I still thought it warranted a review since it worked so much better than I imagined it would.

There are 12 different shades and they are definitely geared more towards light to medium skin tones. I have combo skin but is drier when it gets colder so this was an inexpensive pleasure now it isn’t humid and have no need for my matte foundations. I do have combo to oily skin but I DO NOT find that this makes me look like a grease ball, even after a 10 hour work day. As this sort of thing happens over and over again here in the States, I have drawn my own conclusions and they are very ugly indeed. I’ve spent the past few days wearing them on one half of my face each, being the dedicated tester that I am.The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation is supposed to have medium coverage, radiant finish, air-light texture and wears up to 24 hours. I love the finish that this has on the skin, it makes my skin look like it has a glow from within and while it does have a glow to it, it doesn't look dewy on the skin which I am a huge fan of! You can usually find it right in the very first spot of the ingredient list, meaning it’s the biggest thing out of all the stuff that makes up the product. Btw, chlorine in swimming pool water depletes this protective coating, so one more reason to reapply your sunscreen after a dip in the pool on holiday.
