About this deal

The only way 4711 could possibly be better is if the fragrance lasted longer on skin, but then that's not really in its job description.

Before the alcohol dries away, I get gin, but that kinda doesn’t count, immediately after it dries away I’m hit in the face with citrus, lemon and orange, very bright, with a tinge of green neroli. Cologne is totally unisex (in my subjective opinion), proper and suitable for formal and informal events, day and night, and for all four seasons, but I think it's leaning toward daytime in spring and summer. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. In the drydown it retains some of the lemon surprisingly and the neroli is still there but it does get more powdery making this more well balanced. but commanding a room was never what this scent was about, and I've found that this can be helpful at times (especially since *not* wearing a fragrance of *any* sort makes me feel like something is missing or incomplete). A bit too much lavender for my liking - but still, it was really great to be able to smell history in a bottle. It's probably suitable for men and women above the age of 30 but "old souls" in their 20s can absolutely wear this magnificent fragrance.
