About this deal

Excellent thanks very much. I have just received my M100TSE-1AER. It's definitely a nice watch that's for sure! Invisible solar cells in the watch convert light into energy and supply all functions. A rechargeable battery provides the necessary capacity for operation in poor light conditions. What I'm curious about is why so many owners complain about not being able to turn off the power save function - it's a good thing surely, and the watch wakes up instantly when required. I kinda wanted the steel version with the negative display and the red second hand but I got this one for a steal so I can't complain much, plus the titanium makes it super light and oh so comfy.

The slate blue sunburst dial doesn’t call attention to itself, but captures the eye with 3D hour indices projecting inwards from the slightly elevated chapter ring. The Lineage’s sword-shaped lumed hour and minute hands contrast legibly against the dial; the virtually hair thin second hand can get lost in the old razzle dazzle (a.k.a, bright sunlight). My Linages and WaveCeptors all arrived from Japan reading Mid. They all read Hi after charging and have stayed on Hi. Later in this article I will describe all the specifications for the Lineage series and I will show you my 8 personal favorites. Casio LineageIf a battery arrives at mid power (or even low), have no fear, they can easily be brought right up to high with a good 1-2 day sun bath. The 40mm Casio Lineage LCW-M510D falls somewhere between sports and dressy. Spressy? Drorts? Call it business casual.

That’s a nice one. The module is the same one as my “vintage” (but new to me) GW-2500B, which I love. Great module. I have a 1A2ER that's gotten most of my time lately. On a Eulit Panama it's so comfortable for typing that I end up wearing it most of the time I'm at my desk. In Time Mode, you can set the display to display the Day/Date, digital seconds or digital time (hour:minutes). Otherwise, you’re looking at a digital stopwatch, countdown timer, world time or one of five alarms. Nailed it!The countdown timer emits a signal after a preset period of time has elapsed. The watch has a maximum timing capacity of 100 minutes and can be set in minute-long cycles. Unlike most all-metal watches at this price point, the Casio Lineage LCW-M510D feels surprisingly robust. The three pushers push with authority, with no play or slop to ruin the impression. The Lineage isn’t as adamantine as the entry-level Casio Oceanus– which costs twice as much – but it’s closer to reassuringly solid than worryingly flimsy.

Perhaps they just don't like not having the option, like it's a 'control thing' and the inanimate object is dictating how it should function....IDK, maybe I'm missing something! I’m OCD about a watch’s second hand hitting its marks. Quartz watches at all price points miss by a tiny bit. Some miss by a lot. When I saw the Lineage LCW-M510D dial design online, I knew the hour index extension lines would make any second hand misalignment super-obvious. They’d either be awesome or be a curse. In spite of the moderate appearance of the Lineage watches , they actually have several useful features. So far, my only complaint is that I’ve been unable to set the watch using the radio signal out of Fort Collins, although I’ve only had the watch for a couple of nights and the weather here (Vancouver, B.C.) has been overcast and rainy. The series represents the elegant men’s watch that fits any dress code and at the same time offers a number of key features such as Radio Signal Reception, Solar Power and Water Resistance. It can be worn when showering and bathing (not recommended) and that’s fine for a wristwatch of this type.

We’ve reviewed some pretty hyped brands on this blog before. From the affordable luxury memes of Filippo Loreti and MVMT, to the nostalgia tripping Q-Timex and increasingly popular Chinese home-brands. When I started looking into these watches, I ended up buying the M170. It looks classier, the floating indices and crosshair dial make it stand out a bit more in a sea of generic sports watches, and I figured with dimensions like those it would fit perfect on my 7" wrist. However the design and overall look of the watch make it wear bigger than it is...and I wasn't happy with it. I saw the M100 going for a good price and bought it too to compare, and I'm glad I did. A battery that reads Mid doesn’t mean the battery is wearing out. It just means the battery needs to be charged until it reads Hi.

Tough, durable and elegant: The solid stainless steel wrist strap gives your watch that high-quality, classic feel. The Lineage LCW-M510D depends on Casio’s Multi Band 6 technology. Every night, the watch synchronizes itself with a radio time signal sent from a transmission station in Japan, North America, UK, Europe or China (depending on your location). If you’re out of range, the quartz watch delivers +/- 15 seconds per month accuracy.
