About this deal

Overall, they feel a little cheap and lightweight in hand, but they will hold up well if you take care of them.

The copy I tested did not have this much channel imbalance and showed similarish response up to 1kHz as the measured left channel. In terms of esthetics, comfort, and build quality it's a no-brainer, the Sennheiser HD569 is easily superior. It benefits, it seems to me, from the fairly long development heritage of the HD5xx line of products. FWIW, I just got Sennheiser's HD 579 open back headphones, requires more power that my Fiio X1 can provide, has a big eq spike in the octave above the presence range, sounds great with classical music, particularly piano and harpsichord. The sub-bass synth hits that punctuate the beat are delivered with gusto, but booming bass lovers will find the accurate lows on the HD 569 less powerful than the bass responses of many heavily boosted competing models. This is because they deliver exceptional sound quality thanks to Sennheiser's proprietary driver technology and Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement design. However, their powerful reproduction of low-frequency transients is unclean as, at almost all low frequencies, a cabinet resonance can be heard that makes the bass sound a little sleepy. Both the DT770 pro and the DH569 are closed back headphones whose sound quality aren't much different.

They will help keep the sounds of your sticking on pads to a minimum and let you focus more on the sounds of the drum module, helping you to get lost in the sound of your drum kit.Current fashionable choices like booming lows and luxurious-looking materials that look like they came from the inside of a Ferrari are absent here. Please note: TV and larger floorstanding speaker deliveries are not available to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, and Channel Islands. Bass response has a modest boost giving it good weight, but extension into the lowest octave is a bit lacking and bass is mildly distorted leading to a bit of confusion and slightly lacking textural resolve compared to best in class. Still, some listeners might find the HD 569’s softer sound less exciting than the Audio Technica’s presentation. While maybe not ideal for mixing/mastering, they are great for casual listening and for tracking or playing instruments such as electronic drums.

Through the craft and precision of German Engineering we create innovative products to reinvent the future of audio with remarkable audio experiences that you don’t just hear – but feel. I compared the Sennheiser HD569 with the Beyerdynamic DT770 pro and the Sennheiser won because it has the oval shaped earcups. Due to courier restrictions, we are unable to ship some large appliances to some remote postcode regions. This also helps keep the highs from feeling overly harsh and they are rather smooth and easy to listen to. Midrange response is nicely smooth and integrated, and delivers a better sense of a coherent whole than most sealed cans. You also get an excellent level of clarity in the high-mids and highs, which allows a track with serious bass depth like this one to stay balanced.

Powered by Sennheiser’s proprietary transducer technology including the “Ergonomic acoustic refinement” which, says the company, “…channels the audio signal directly into your ears…” these headphones arrive with a, lets say, ‘contemporary’ design. Treble is slightly low in level, and is slightly hazy, which to my ears creates more of a problem with a reduced depth of image rather than tonal balance or articulation. The closed, circumaural (over-the-ear) design of the HD 569 is neither visually striking nor ugly—the frame is bulky and simple, with matte black plastic and velvet-like black earpads. If you’re in the market for a new portable headphone – and one that offers tons of accuracy – this is the headphone for you. Customs duties can apply for shipments to any countries outside of the UK depending on where the product you have bought is made.I have found through raw frustration of annoying my fellow discordees that my boom-mounted Audio-Technica lets all the background noise in, including things like my mouse, keyboard, loud cars outside, shuffling in my seat, etc. Synthetic suede ear pads over plush memory foam and "just right" ergonomics makes this a great headphone for long listening sessions at work without being disturbed by, or disturbing neighbors. If you're running a script or application, please register or sign in with your developer credentials here. A superb pair of noise-isolating headphones which hold the balance of performance and affordability. On Jay-Z and Kanye West's "No Church in the Wild," the kick drum loop's attack gets plenty of high-mid focus, allowing its sharp edge to slice through the layers of the mix as one of the more prominent elements.
