About this deal
In a suprising parallel to Bulgari, the marble-like grayish packaging fits the scent uncannily well.
It still has a marvelous array of citrus notes, with a really balmy, sunny mandarin orange essence that lingers into the drydown. The rework done here witnessed how there may still be IFRA-compliant fragrances not completely shattered. My only complaint is I wish Armani would step it up and make it as an Eau De Parfum instead of a toilette. At the heart there are elegant jasmine and lavender, accompanied by spices: nut, coriander, cinnamon and clove.
I wouldn't bother with the current formula at all - it is truly that bad and a definite Thumbs Down. It doesn’t have any of the 80s urinal cake smell or really any dated notes typical of 80s masculine frags. It also brings up the imagery of an evening date where an elegant and attractive couple is dancing sensually together. Even though it has all kind of citrus fruits as top notes and is fresh, thanks to warm notes like nutmeg, cinnamon and other "spice-like" notes to me it smells more like a fall/winter and cold night fragrance. Since its output, it smell as a very natural lemon with herbal spices, in a very mediterranean style, in its medium phase grows up the smell of flowers with a prominent nutmeg and cloves.
It is lightly spicy, still citrus and refined with the characteristic woods, though the florals are noticeably absent. Menos estela, menos jabonosa y menos duración (en mi piel una hora menos apróximadamente comparando la original al mismo tiempo) .
If Armani creators boost it a little bit to make it in a higher concentration, it will be (easily) THE best male fragrance of all time ! If you are looking for a signature scent that has timeless elegance and will work as well with a crisp white shirt and tie or a polo shirt then include this on your shortlist. are becoming more and more the same, this will give you a lot of attention as it is rare for fragrances nowadays to feature notes like cedar, lavender, coriander etc.
The bad smell associated with this cologne is that the citruses can sometimes smell sour and too sharp. Roger Pellegrino was not without his tricks, and a bit of French influence creeps into the heart and base of Armani Eau Pour Homme, correlating it to classics like Dior Eau Sauvage (1966) or Monsieur de Givenchy (1959) every bit as much as the debut Capucci masculine. back in that time a lot of my buddies were wearing Drakkar, Halston z-14, Quorum and Versace Homme, but this always held a special place in my heart, when i wear this it tranports me back to mid 80s and wonderful romantic simple time.
After Eau parfumée au thé vert and cK One, a light citrus Eau de Parfum is something we take for granted. Continued from the review below, I have also had the immense pleasure of experiencing the deodorant, the soap and the aftershave balm, all vintage. Would make a good special occasion summer fragrance for someone looking for something a bit less generic. I had been lusting after a certain smell, the classic, like something my grandfather would have worn, and I have to say I experienced what I'm sure can only be compared to a junkie's high when I smelled it.
