About this deal

I swear though, if they had managed to keep that “sorbet accord” from the first 10-15 seconds for longer through the fragrance... this would be a very different review. SWEET, CREAMY & SOLAR Tiare Flower with Powdery Orange-Blossom. Perhaps Paco Rabanne's answer to the Alien Goddess craze, this beauty doesn't bear much in common with the original Olympea. Opens with a burst of citrus & orange-blossom with sweet, powdery & tropical facets, that deepens into a floral heart of tiare supported by solar notes & oakmoss, with buttery, beachy & sweet nuances, all resting on a ylang-benzoin base. Aldehydes & oakmoss here are less prominent than the notes would suggest, and overall I get a sweet, beachy tiare-flower & powdery orange-blossom scent over a sweet balsamic benzoin base. Reminders for me of Alien Goddess Mugler, Dolce Garden Dolce&Gabbana and Hypnotic Poison Dior. Maybe people are too young nowadays to remember but this is actually a very retro smell and it is very similar to YSL Baby Doll at first (a discountinued, iconic "fruitchuli") The sweetness could have been half of what it is for me but i just won't overspray. It's on my radar to test on skin. Really like it for a clean but warm ambery tiare ylang floral . Also, my nose prefers niche by a mile. Stupid nose. This one does not smell like "perfumey designer" to me upon first testing. I do like the trend designers are going these days. Less eighties, nineties and more current. Well done. This might be my first paco Rabanne... Keep you posted. As the world morned the passing of Paco Rabanne in 2023, a new flanker called Olympéa Flora was released.

It's smooth, creamy and blends really well with my skin chemistry. Its smell is delicious, it is the perfect summer perfume. I am in love with this perfume, it's so addictive. The sillage is really good, and it lasts +12h on my skin It reminds me of the whole Delina Exclusif/Very Good Girl DNA. Almost a touch of Angel Nova in there too.. but with the saltiness of the original Olympéa. Olympéa Legend is probably the most popular fragrance in the Olympéa range, however it has now been discontinued.Deutsch | Español | Français | Čeština | Italiano | Русский | Polski | Português | Ελληνικά | 汉语 | Nederlands | Srpski | Română | العربية | Українська | Монгол | עברית This is very ambroxan dominant, not much ambergris. I feel the aquatic jasmine and a hint of beautiful green mandarin but the metallic ambroxan overpowers the other notes and as I'm sensitive to it, this wasn't a match for me. In summer I enjoy salty notes but the salt in this feels quite mild, especially compared to Olympéa Solar with its potent saltiness. Just received my official little 0.3ml sample from Paco Rabanne. So far I’d have to say it is my FAVOURITE of the Olympéa line so far 😍👏🏻 Paco Rabanne Olympéa Intense is a deeper, warmer, Amber version of the original perfume. The Amber combines well with the Vanilla and Salt notes to create what is indeed a more intense version of Olympéa.

The most beautiful citrus-caramely opening that I have ever tried. I was so happy that I found my long awaited perfect sweet/citrus summer fragrance but my happiness lasted for max 1 minute after which it turned into a caramel bomb. If that opening lasted through the middle notes i would have been the happiest. It opens quite citrusy-fresh and floral with the jasmine, and gets warmer as time goes on, in the same way as the original- before you realise, you're surrounded by sunny creamy tropical flowers. |Paco Rabanne launches a new feminine fragrance in August 2015 under the mythical name of Olympéa. Olympéa represents the equivalent of the masculine edition Invictus from 2013, inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory. Upon the very first sniff, I've thought to myself "Another Delina Exclusif wannabe?". I can see the CH Very Good Girl resemblance as well. It’s essentially a slightly warmer, slightly fruiter version of the original scent. The top notes are Plum and Apricot which work well with the Salty Vanilla to create a sweet warmth.

This is an odd ball for me. How can a fragrance feel refreshing and warm at the same time? I love it. I get a tiny bit of some of that “saltiness” that the Olympea line is famous for as the scent moves into the mid, and as it settles down it smells less like Delina and takes on more of a generic women’s designer scent that we’ve all smelled 1000 times. Edit: I don’t get Delina or Nova from this, there is no sharpness to my nose and Flora is less rose centric than those two. They all have a slight ‘sweaty’ - musk and salt vibe but I wouldn’t say they are similar scents as I don’t love Delina, and detest Nova, but could drench myself in this. It’s definitely giving Babydoll 😍

I’m not sure yet.. reminds me of a mix between dolce garden and PDM Oriana with citrus. Definitely solar and summery. Olympea from 2015, Olympea Aqua from 2016, Olympea Intense from 2016, Olympea Aqua Eau de Parfum Legere from 2018, Olympea Legend from 2019, Olympea Onyx Collector Edition from 2020, Olympea Blossom from 2021, and the newest Olympea Solar from 2022.i really wish this one worked for me! salty notes really intrigue me, and olympea is one that kept coming up over and over again when i was hunting down perfumes that utilize a salty smell (my first dive was with womanity, which i love, but this ain't about her), so when i finally tried it, i was met with disappointment :

Eu estou apaixonada por este perfume! Ele tem um cheiro alegre, moderno, diferente, realmente lembra sol, clube. praia, dia lindo!. As with other people here I was trapped into the hype and marketing and blind-bought hoping for something amazing. At first spray I loved it. Though it reminded me of my local mall it also brought warm fuzzy memories. Possibly the salt and warm vanilla reminds me of the pretzel stand right next to the chocolate/ice cream shop? And jasmine is usually such a comforting scent to me. I have been wearing the hell out of my little sample recently, and this really is a stunning, warm scent. Opens up with sweet citruses, tropical ylang-ylang and freshly peeled orange slices and has a thread of the original salty Olympea DNA. This becomes very smooth and feminine with the addition of vanilla toasted benzoin, giving it an almost caramel quality. I think this could be worn for any occasion, but my first thought went to a luxurious wedding hosted at a plush beach resort on a paradise island. This really is very classy and just beautiful. So warm and elegant. Now, that being said, I think this would layer beautifully with a coconut body lotion. I'd try to go for a subtle, natural-smelling coconut (and not the super gourmand, desserty type) so it only complements the creamy accord without over-powering the rest of the fragrance. If YSL Libre Le Parfum is winter, this is the summer counterpart. That vanilla ginger white floral combo is quite warming and sensual. The added saltiness makes this more “summer nights” appropriate. Dare I say, this flanker is more interesting than the OG Olympéa, it is almost a reinterpretation of the perfume rather than a new take. Have to admit I wasn't completely sold on first "sniff" but its grown on me. I sprayed 2 sprays on my wrist at 730 this morning and I can still smell it now at 830pm!! As others have mentioned, this is quite different from the original Olympea. And I love it! It's one of my favorites from this line, along with the Intense version. This is not salty and doesn't have the intense clean florals of the EDP.
