About this deal

This probably won’t be a centerpiece for your army, but it has some really cool detail that would make for a fun painting challenge. New Battletome Revealed Not even the apocalypse was enough to eradicate them from reality. Like true vermin, they survived the complete annihilation of the World-that-Was, taking up residence in the decaying realm-straddling cesspit known as Blight City in the Mortal Realms. Cloak of Shadows - Woven from stolen Human hair and spider silk, the Cloak of Shadows conceals and silences the wearer, making Snikch near-invisible when in darkness. [1a] Other stories attributed to the Deathmaster in recent years involve the killing of the famed Grail Knight Boragild of L'Anguille, a noble knight and victor of countless wars who was beloved across the entirety of Bretonnia. This epitome of knightly honour had his spine severed as he prayed, sending the entire kingdom into mourning. [6b] Snikch is the Deathmaster, chief assassin and prime agent of Sneek, a Lord of Decay and the ruling Nightlord of the Skaven's Clan Eshin. His infamy is only exceeded by the mystery which surrounds his whereabouts at any particular time. Sneek ensures that this is the case -- as long as no one knows the location of his chief assassin no one can feel safe. Deathmaster Snikch has appeared all over the Old World at one time or another, seldom being seen but always leaving his distinctive symbol traced in blood beside the decapitated heads of his victims. [2a]

Death Runners - Death Runners are the elite among the ranks of Night and Gutter Runners, having excelled at the mysterious Far Eastern fighting styles for which Gutter Runners are known and demonstrated enough wherewithal and self-determination to lead. Because of their ability to bend and contort their pliable bodies with a speed and dexterity unachievable by man, Death Runners have no need for encumbering armour - they simply dodge the blows and missile of their foes. [5] Finally, the 1 Mortal wound option has been dropped to just leave the D3 mortal wound option for every enemy unit within 13″ on a 4+. Not bad, especially if you move it into the middle of a crowd. Deathmaster Snikch - Snikch is the chosen instrument of Nightlord Sneek, an infamous ratman with a reputation for grisly murders. No one can ever really tell where Snikch is at any given time, heightening the terror surrounding him. Each Skaven Great Clan gets special rules of their own, even in mixed legions, but the following applies across the board to all of them. Those who survive and learn the greater techniques of the Art of Silent Death are promoted to Gutter Runners, who can sneak behind enemy lines and slaughter entire units of enemies, unseen and unheard. [1a]Note: All miniature models come unassembled and unpainted on sprues, so if this is your first foray into hobby wargaming you'll also need hobby snippers, glue, paints, and other miniature modeling tools. Box Contents for Warhammer Echoes of Doom (excluding miniatures). Image: Games Workshop What's Included In The Warhammer Echoes of Doom Book? Deathmaster by Nature: It would appear that the Eshin's infamous Chief Assassin has been decisively defeated, the victim of his own malice.

This is the biggest line update they’ve basically ever had, with fast-moving bug models and the return of this lady… Sylvaneth Lady of the Vines Over the centuries since their return, Eshin has achieved a special place within the Council of Thirteen, using their talents to cow and corral the lesser clans and maintain the authority and influence of the Great Clans. In effect, they act as the secret police force to the Lords of Decay, the metaphorical poisoned dagger in the hand of the council. [1a]Using a host of weapons from the throwing star and blowgun to the repeating crossbow and an arsenal of poisons, these dealers of death are blamed for the majority of suspicious murders in both Skaven and Dwarf societies, not to mention those untimely deaths in the human lands by those who do not deny the Skaven menace. [1a] Eshin Infantry [ ] Come see what to expect in the near future for AoS, including a new Skaven Deathmaster and Battletome book updated for 3.0 Technically, there were only 12 Lords of Decay at any one time, with the 13th seat of the Council occupied by the Great Horned Rat itself. As for those buffs I mentioned, the table is very different now. Instead of 2d6, you just roll 1d6. This means that all buffs are equally possible to roll but it also means…they’re all equally possible to roll. Definitely leaning in more on the Skaven’s randomness. The buffs include:

Clan Eshin provides an unseen force with which the Council of Thirteen and other powerful Skaven Warlords maintain or gain their position of power. Within the highly feared Caverns of Unyielding Shadow, the Clan Eshin district deep in the bowels of Skavenblight, many treaty-pacts are claw-marked and the doom of many rivals is assured. [2a] They didn’t give us a release date quite yet, but usually, it’s not far off when you see the box. New Echoes of Doom Box Set & Sylvaneth Rules SPOTTED Inside the box you’ll find three swift and deadly Vertus Praetors, as well as a five-man squad of Custodian Guard – powerful warriors blessed by the God-Emperor himself. These kits come with a variety of weapon options, and parts to build one warrior from each squad as a mighty Shield-Captain, and build one Custodian Guard as a standard-bearing Vexilus Praetor. Rounding out the box are 10 Sisters of Silence, the galaxy’s premier psyker hunters, who can be assembled as Witchseekers, Vigilators, or Prosecutors. Adeptus Custodes – Blade Champion At 170 points I think he’s probably just a bit too expensive. He might gel better in the new book though, Games Workshop articulated in the recent preview they see Skaven as a high risk, high reward army so the wide damage range might fit in just fine. It’s also going to depend on how subfaction affinity is going to work in the upcoming book. Clanrats

Kurnoth Hunters with Bows

Grand Nightlord’s Agitator: Regardless of the mark, Snikch always finds a way to get close. Regardless of the Nightlord’s motives, the Deathmaster always sees his master's will done. At the recent Warhammerfest Preview we got to see the new battletomes on the horizon: Skaven and Sylvaneth, along with a new character for Skaven and a Hero and 3 new units for Sylvaneth. What was not announced was the box Echoes of Doom which would introduce some of these, along with updated warscrolls, but that came shortly after. Scaling Damage: The amount of damage this unit causes increases based upon the number of hitpoints the target has lost.
