It was a frame loom, equipped with treadles to lift the warp threads, leaving the weaver's hands free to pass and beat the weft thread. Yes please to more loom patterns. I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of my KB skinny and regular flexeelooms from the US. I just finished a miniature circular doll house rug. Learned a lot. I pulled my yarn too tight and it curled the edges. Also I am determined to figure out a better finish for the center. Trying a second one. The middle is a bit off, and the pegs are a bit in the way when you weave- warping it was a it of a challenge, but great practice still. But it is a low-cost alternative, and the end results are perfectly OK- great way to practice circle weaving. The middle knot in a knitting loom is charming in its own way, since a knitting loom will give a few more warp threads than that one above, but if you have some texture in the weave, you will not notice that it is maybe less perfect than on a proper circle weave. Choose warp that is not too stretchy and fitting to the yarns that you will use in the project. When weaving with a mix of yarns, you want to secure them with proper warp.
