With a good pair of nippers, a hobby knife and some plastic glue, I was able to assemble the whole thing in around 2 hours. That’s even accounting for my somewhat needless desire to eliminate every single mould line or piece of flashing. The fiddliest part is the Vox-Antenna, and that’s only because you have the choice of vertical or horizontal for the position of the dish. What’s The Quality Like? The amount of utility you’re going to get from the Battlezone: Fronteris Nachmund set is going to depend on which games you play. If you bought this for use in Kill Team or Necromunda, it’s an excellent addition to your collection. When I reviewed Kill Team: Chalnath, I got a bit of a headache trying to figure out whether or not I thought the box was worth the money. To paraphrase a several paragraph-long explanation: although Octarius had a lot more content in it that Chalnath (as was to be expected: the former is a new edition box, the latter an expansion), the fact the two weren’t priced all that far apart left me unsure as to whether or not I felt like Chalnath was worth the money GW were charging for it. Essentially: was Octarius a bargain and Chalnath a fair price, or was Octarius a fair price and thus Chalnath a bit expensive? These no-nonsense facilities are designed to weather the harsh conditions of thousands of frontier worlds the Imperium is attempting to keep its foothold on, providing defence against a variety of threats.

As before, the great thing about the Voidscarred is that there are multiple build options for each figure, and plenty of ways to individualise each model. The likelihood of you turning up to a game and finding someone else there with the same combo of models in their Corsair Voidscarred team is infinitesimally tiny. Som, before we begin, I need to say that this is a wild estimate based on several factors I’ve gone into below. And whilst we are estimating much of the value here, on the verge of a yearly price hike from GW, what we are looking for here is an estimated savings percentage. At least then, no matter what the price goes up by, we can still infer a saving.

Is the Box Worth it?

However, as before, the parts for each model are scattered haphazardly across three sprues once again, just as they were with the Chaos units. But the issue is more profound with the Voidscarred, as each model is on the whole made up of more parts. Said parts are also significantly smaller, which makes them even more difficult to find.
