About this deal

The puppy-dog, deep, sensitive eyes of Mark, and the bad-boy, playful, bedroom eyes of Warren accurately convey their difference in personalities and perhaps why they are so irrepressibly attracted to each other, despite the furtive nature of their relationship. We further endure the best part of two hours with Mark, his spaniel-eyed target with slightly less terrifying facial hair, who has no less serious problems with truth, self-awareness, and honesty; and the chance for a happy resolution in the closing frames - another, slightly vulnerable rugby lad adores Mark to bits - is blithely discarded.

The bonus August 13, 1970 section is a nice addition, but it was a smart move to keep it separate, only because this allows for the viewing delight of the one concert event with the main content, (From August 11 and 12, 1970). The other key relationship I think is that of Henry [Will Hearle] who represents unrequited love and is a foil for characters who act on their impulses to requite [Alice; and Mark and Warren [Alexander King]] and the resulting “collateral damage”. With the 'in between-song banter' several times we get to - see - for the first time what Elvis was, in fact, talking about ('thanks for the lamb Mary') that we could only ever wonder about while listening to records and or CD before today! This DVD Inner and Outer SleeveFor this specific sale the DVD's sleeve condition refers only to the inner paper insert sleeve, and does not refer to the outer digipak, jewel case or cardboard outer casing.

NO fan will be disappointed in the release, it has it all, and I doubt it will leave your player for some time. Henry, Pinky, Gareth, Jimmy, the coach and owner all have interesting points that I would love expanded on. When a series of happenstances at an away fixture lead to a drunken encounter, Mark and Warren unwittingly embark on a romantic affair they struggle to hide from their partners and teammates. Neither the montage, geez, we just watched the movie, nor the music was necessary and it would’ve been so much more powerful without it, good lord, much of the movie does such a good job of giving us the credit for being able to understand inference, then this. And I like it more for the sports drama than the romantic aspects because, despite all the mud they played in, the "romance" was messier than the rugby. To mark the release of In From the Side on 28th November, we’ve been given 3 copies to give away on DVD. Viewer Quote: "This film starts off with a great title sequence that perfectly sets the tone of the film--loud, brassy and dirty. Minute for minute, you won’t find a more handsome-packed film this year than British rugby drama In from the Side, a surprisingly moving sports-team story slathered in sweat, streaked with mud, and dripping with sexuality.
