About this deal

I really enjoyed this first installment of the Hunt Her series by Eden Summers. She is a new-to-me author and I just ate up her writing style and story. I loved Hunter and Steph’s dynamic. Lots of heartbreak in her past, which she tries to deal with in the most “badass” way possible. To her, this means relying solely on herself, avoiding friendships and connections, even with family. He's harsh and aggressive and that's on a good day, filled with Love and lust and fire getting what he wants comes easily to him, feelings are not something that comes into your mind when you think about torian he doesnt have time for it but Damn I have all the feels after reading this. This is not your typical love story - true, there are flowers here, but they don't come with hearts. There is passion, but it will drive you up the walls (before and after !!!!) and just prepare yourself to go mental few times during this read, but believe me when I say - HE IS WORTH IT !!!!!!

I haven’t cried in ten years. Not in sorrow. Not in pain. And definitely not in the overwhelming happiness currently sinking through every inch of my being.

Advance Praise

you have to get this book. It is not for the fainthearted but it is a thrill, its a mind game and its all and more (which I will not tell you cause you have to read it and see for yourself) Safe. Protected. I was supposed to get the morning after pill and forgot in the mad scramble to regain control in my life. “I’m not pregnant.” Hunter downs the last of his beer. “He’s right. I should get out of here and leave you alone like I promised.”

The narration by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden is fantastic. Love both these narrators just enhanced the experience. The humor flees his features. “Are you serious?” He approaches to settle in beside me, peering down at me with beseeching eyes. This is such a great collection of books! If you love romantic suspenses, then you will not want to miss out on these fast-paced romances. Tropes or Themes: Dark, Mafia, Stalking, Revenge, Violence, Strong FMC, Secret Identity, Protective MMC, Chemistry, Mine, Alcohol, Drugged Situation, Secrets, Lies, Betrayal, Guns, Blood, Injury & Death. Mentions: R, Fire, Grief After I left Hunter a month ago, I came here. There had been nowhere else to go. I’d loathed the thought of spending another night in a hotel when I knew Hunter wouldn’t come after me, and my apartment was nothing but empty space. My heart does a goddamn flip. It’s enough to make my knees weak and my stomach tumble. “I’ve been waiting for a month.” I will say I was pulled in from this blurb. However, the story just fell a little short for me. There were just certain things that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Now with that being said I have said it before and I will say it again I enjoy a book with a strong independent heroine. In this book we get that with Sarah/Steph. She only has one thing on her mind and it is revenge and vengeance. That is until one over the top alpha male named Hunter. Hunter is a hot sexy man that is splashed with mystery. The two of them together did have some sexy times that were hot. Just because this book did not work for me doesn't mean you will not enjoy the book yourself. Remember this is just my opinion. I liked the heroine (mostly…) because she was tough and stood her ground. I liked the hero because he was all in with the heroine and seemed like a mostly good guy. Well, a good guy for his line of work. And only in books.

His brows pull tight, then finally, he gives a succinct nod. “Is it a problem that I plan on following you?” My vision blurs as I wait for his response. I remember what he said the first time. I remember the exact words— I want everything. The suspense plot was fairly dark and dangerous, and it was exciting to watch it all unfold. Each character had their own ideas about getting to the bottom of the issue, and no one was listening to each other, so it made for some fairly hare-brained schemes that could've ended in disaster. This story was darker than I typically like, but I really enjoyed the author's writing style, and pacing. I wasn't sure I'd end up liking either of the main characters ultimately, as neither could be trusted to tell the truth. But, they both managed to endear themselves to me, each in their own way. They were both fighting to trust each other, but each of them were in a very precarious position. They both had huge skeletons in their closet, and both were morally ambiguous, to say the least. But I enjoyed getting to know them, and the whole Torian crew.I've been a fan of this author for a long time. So, when I saw she was releasing a new book, it wasn't even necessary for me to read the synopsis to know that I wanted to read it. But I was still surprised once I dove in. Hunter is unlike any of her other books I've read. It's heavy on the secrets and suspense, keeping me on the edge as I waited for answers. Everyone has to start somewhere.” He grins at me and slides over a Long Island Iced Tea, my current drink of choice. “You’re just a little slower at this than my regulars.”

This book is what I like to call Navy Blue, meaning there isn’t any clutching of pearls nor is it light and fluffy throughout. Through many twists and turns you are kept guessing and desperately wanting Sebastian and Keira to get to their happily ever after. I loved seeing more of Hunter and Sarah in this story and hearing more about Cole Torian has me eagerly waiting for the next installment of this enthralling series. The book is told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden who both do a great job. Maxine has a feminine voice which sounds perfect for Steph. She is very good at sounding nervous at times and strong at times and she is very good at having different voices for male and female characters. Joe Arden has a great deep and gravelly voice which I really like. This book was perfectly written and well developed with its characters. I am so ready to read more in Torian’s story.

We are reintroduced to Hunter and Sarah (Hunter #1), as well as Keira’s brother Cole Tarian. Cole’s story line is next. I swallow over the tightening in my throat. “You’re wasting your time with monosyllable answers,” I whisper. “He’ll keep pestering you until you divulge your deepest, darkest secrets.”
