ATEM Mini Extreme ISO supports direct live streaming using Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) over ethernet or a shared mobile internet connection over USB‑C. However, the main function of the Extreme connected through the network remains the same, and again you can connect a monitor to access multiview which is essential. On the ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models you also get buttons for record and streaming control, as well as output selection buttons that let customers change the video output between cameras, program and multiview.

ATEM Mini’s compact all in one design includes both a control panel as well as connections. The front panel includes easy to use buttons for selecting sources, video effects and transitions. The source buttons are large so it’s possible to use it by feel, letting the presenter do the switching! You even get buttons for audio mixing! On the ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models you also get buttons for record and streaming control, as well as output selection buttons that let you change the video output between cameras, program and multiview. On the rear panel there are HDMI connections for cameras or computers, extra microphone inputs, USB for webcam out plus an HDMI "aux" output for program video. Anytime you see the term ATEM Mini, it is an HDMI switcher, while ATEM SDI is an SDI switcher. The base models start with four video inputs, and the Extreme models have eight inputs. ATEM Software Control Panel included free for Mac 10.14 Mojave, Mac 10.15 Catalina, Mac 11 Big Sur or later and Windows 10 64 bit only.There were and still are cheaper switchers designed for the home, however, their function is often limited to simple switches and fades. As with the other ATEM Mini models, the Extreme streams in HD, there’s no 4K option; for that, you need to go to the professional broadcast ATEM’s. However, it will enable you to stream at HD 60fps; this is more for the gaming community where Multicam and picture streaming are all part of the course. Ethernet supports 10/100/1000 BaseT for live streaming, software control, software updates and direct or network panel connection. This model adds all the features of ATEM Mini Pro plus it records 5 H.264 video streams in real time! That's a clean feed of all inputs plus the live program! A DaVinci Resolve project is also saved so you can open your live production to adjust edits, remix audio and add color correction!

You get all the ATEM Mini Pro features plus 8 HDMI inputs, 2 separate HDMI outputs, 2 USB ports and a headphone connection. There are also 4 chroma keyers, 6 picture in picture DVEs, 2 media players, and a multiview with up to 16 views! Ethernet supports 10/100/1000 BaseT. Ethernet used for direct connection between panel and chassis or via network. ATEM Mini Extreme ISO also supports direct USB‑C connection. Ethernet or USB‑C used for updating the software. Alongside the ATEM Mini Extreme hardware is the ATEM Software Control; this is where you can further adjust the setting and load overlay graphics and sting.

Computer interface: 2 USB type C 3.1 generation 1 ports for recording to external hard drives and for webcam output, software control, software updates and to connect a control panel Once everything is connected, the ATEM Mini Extreme is then connected to your computer.
