While I’d still love for MGA to consider introducing new body types to the Bratz brand, this one serves its purpose for the collection. If you don’t know already, this body is a hybrid of the original 2001 torso and legs with arms from the Movie dolls from 2007 and hands from the 2013 bodies. Growing up as a tomboy in Lagos, Nigeria, I have always been fascinated by Bratz dolls with their extreme beauty, looks, and out-of-this-world-fashion. I should also note that there are some skintone differences between Jade’s head and her body; I wish they had managed to make her completely pale like her previous dolls. Along with platform shoes and knee-high socks, Jade is decked in a mesh yellow 'STAR LAVA' dress with red pleather stars. Felicia's drip isn't really my style, but I can appreciate how clear and novel of an aesthetic it is.

Also, it can be hard to engage the zipper, and Felicia's arm mobility is limited when she's wearing the jacket. I don't think of Bratz dolls as being especially well articulated, so I didn't really have high hopes for Felicia's body design.There is nothing else set to come out in Fall 2022, but Spring 2023 doll releases are just around the corner! Thank you so much to MGA Entertainment not only for sending the Mowalola dolls, but also for putting more faith and love into the brand that put their company on the spot. Even though not all of the collaborations and reproductions are to my taste, I appreciate what MGA is doing with the brand and I hope that some of my ''grail'' dolls will get reproduced, too.
