All episodes have been newly remastered from the best available sources – these classic adventures have never looked or sounded so good on home media. Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 9 (c) BBC Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 9 includes the following stories from 1972: Anonymous, I’m referring to where you say flash drive would be easier then you might as well go for Britbox streaming I would say if you are going to do straight through your TV rather than change a disc but Blu-Rays are better of course.

Season 9 Announced as the Next Limited Edition Doctor Who: The Collection Blu-ray Set

Doctor Who: The Mutants (DVD)". BBC Shop. Archived from the original on 18 October 2013 . Retrieved 19 October 2013. Occasionally, relevant additional material is included. For instance, season 18 also included K9 and Company, having aired in the gap between seasons 18 and 19, and season 19 included Time Crash. Notably, Season 17 included the 2017 animated reconstruction of Shada, split into six separate episodes as opposed to its initial feature-length release.

Today: Radio 4 excerpt on children writing Doctor Who stories, broadcast 28 March 1972. (2'09" | 1972) These Special Release Doctor Who Complete Season Blu Ray Sets have become the definitive must-have items for any serious collector of the shows TV archival past. The love and attention that the individual stories receive, both in terms of sound and picture enhancement, by its dedicated team of restorers, is nothing short of miraculous. Given that much of the original archive is held either on original PAL Video Masters, or on the much inferior telecine, expectations were fairly low that the process would produce anything that was notably better than the original DVD releases. It is very satisfying to report that this assumption has been proven incorrect with each and every release of the these sets, the current Season 9 set being no exception. You mention Season 18 – the disc replacement programme does not include spelling error corrections for the script-writers credits for several serials, not just episodes. Added to that, credit sequences themselves loop on end for Logopolis when watching with updated vfx.

MOVIE-LENGTH EDITIONS: Special repeat screenings of Day of the Daleks and The Sea Devils, previously unavailable. The films I have seen are still with that collector and there is no chance anytime soon of them being handed over to anyone. I made the point then as now that it makes sense for episodes to turn up with private collectors. It’s happened before and it will happen again.

Behind the Sofa: with Michael E Briant and Katy Manning; Sophie Aldred and Wendy Padbury; and Peter Davison, Janet Fielding and Sarah Sutton. (31'53" | 16:9 | 2023) The Sea Devils was released on DVD alongside Doctor Who and the Silurians and Warriors of the Deep in the Beneath the Surface boxset. The Time Monster was part of a DVD boxset called Myths and Legends with Underworld and The Horns of Nimon.
