I normally detail my likes and dislikes in a review, but I loved everything, and there wasn’t a word to nitpick. When I read the Souls series I was very much intrigued by Grip and Bristol's relationship and wondered what was their story. Kennedy Ryan has a beautiful, poetic way of writing that brings out every emotion and can educate without feeling like she is doing just that.

As someone who didn’t grow up in the US, I didn’t know that interracial marriages could cause this type of reaction – especially between Grip’s family. PLUS "All", the Grip short story previously published in the Cocktales charity anthology---PLUS two BRAND NEW "where are they now" chapters. Their strength and integrity shine through the prose and the growth of their relationship is incredible. I thought their story was complete, thought I knew everything I needed to know but I was so very wrong.
