About this deal

The Warhammer Vault also expands, this time with White Dwarf issues 318 and 319, and you can get your fill of aelven theological gossip with Broken Realms: Morathi and Broken Realms: Teclis .

Let’s take a look at all six of the Warhammer 40k Battleforce value and pricing, along with the new Adeptus Mechanicus Omnissiah’s Talon. The real shame of this box is that Sisters tanks just don’t see much play. While Exorcists were a mainstay of Sisters armies prior to their 2021 codex, modern competitive forces rely much more on foot-slogging lists, potentially with the support of a rhino or two. That said, Immolators do see some use in good lists here and there – most recently at the North and South GT in a top 4 list, where taking 1-2 can give you a tough, mobile source of multi-melta shots, and a recent September GT-winning list featured an Exorcist, and neither are bad units. Beyond that, the Sacresants and battle sisters are must-haves in every Adepta Sororitas army and the Dogmata shows up in most, making this a box that’s great for new players and potentially still a good value for players looking to add to their army who don’t mind adding a couple of tanks. Final Verdict: Good Value This was assembled in sub-assemblies with the two halves of the body worked on separately, as many large parts as you can manage and most of the guns, legs, etc., can be worked on individually. Masters of stealth and infiltration, the Raven Guard Ravenstrike Battleforce offers 17 total models: Battleforce Box Price” Assumed until confirmed 2022 40k Battleforce – Adepta Sororitas – Sanctorum Guard (Contents, Price, Value & Savings)

Wrap-up

Step 7: Reapplying basing and highlights. I touched up areas I feel were made too dark by the shade, using either the base colors (if non-contrast) or smooth constrast areas out with colors I felt matched well enough. For Blood Angels Red over Wraithbone, I found that a 60/40 mix of Mephiston Red and Fire Dragon Bright worked well to match. To do edge highlighting I just upped the FDB until I felt it stood out well enough. Bone I touched up with a slightly watered down Wraithbone and then highlighted with a 50/50 Wraithbone/White Scar mix.

On small things I do maybe one additional coat of Agrax further down the panels, but on something big like this don’t be afraid to do as many as needed to get a semi smooth transition. For the Wyldwood I would suggest doing at least one coat of thinned before going to the straight, I think I did ~3 thinned coats on this model. I also used pure wyld wood to make the leathery underarmor look more appropriate, you probably could use a different undercoat for them but it works out ok over the blue and saves a bunch of time particularly on models with both cloth and leather. First up are the vampires of the Soulblight Gravelords, who lead a dolorous horde of brainless thralls in a bumper box which contains 66 miniatures. Hordes of Deadwalker Zombies are particularly useful for pinning down enemy forces while the Vengorian Lord and their Blood Knights swoop in for the jugular. As always, keep your astropathic choir trained on the searing light of the Astronomican – or just sign up for the Warhammer Community newsletter for more up-to-the-millennium communiqués as they’re revealed. The vast majority of your Admech will be painted at this point. But there will probably be some random bits that need some extra TLC. For example, on all my plasma or arc weapons, I paint them with Baharroth Blue, and then trace the raised lines with Retributor Armor.

Adepta Sororitas – Sanctorum Guard

With that done, your Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii are done! This paint scheme can be repeated throughout the range. Techpriests also look great painted in this same scheme! If you like eccentric mechanical limbs, gosh does the Adeptus Mechanicus have a treat for you with not one or two, but 15 weird and wonderful modes of ambulation or flight! There’s also a unit of Skitarii and a powerful Tech-priest to lead this gaggle of whirring, clunking, zapping warriors. Stripping themselves of the undue burden of organic components, followers of the Adeptus Mechanicus worship the Machine God in any way they can. From the simple act of being a nameless cog in the great forge worlds, to the holy acts of sacraments performed upon the blessed Bolt Rifle before battle, the AdMech is pervasive throughout the Imperium, but also a wholly distinct group on their own.
