About this deal

Less substantial but still interesting is Suzy In Nazi Germany, in which a historian discusses the film’s Munich locations with a specific focus on their connections with Nazi Germany. jrhodes (21 May 2009). Original U.S. Television Spots (1:46, upconverted to 1080p) - presents U.S. TV Spot #1 (0:36), U.S. TV Spot #2 (0:36), and U.S. TV Spot #3 (0:36). The spots are shown in 1.33:1 with an LPCM 2.0 mix. There is a "Play All" option.

I dearly wish this film had been a major hit at the box office, it needs a 4K UHD Blu-ray release! With fine film grain apparent but never out of place or too noisy, the image boasts clean and clear details allowing everyone's facial features and unique makeup to shine through beautifully - and horrifically in a couple of instances!

To say that the wait for Synapse Films’ U.S. Blu-ray debut of Suspiria was well worth it would be a gross understatement. DMJ: SUSPIRIA was the longest restoration project of my career. We started the film scan of the original 35mm uncensored camera negative in Italy almost 4 years ago, did a lot of the restoration in Poland for about a year and a half, and just finished in Los Angeles in the summer of 2017.
